4. His Ex-fiancee

“Alea? How long does it take to get ready?” asked Eros from outside Alea's room.

Eros knocked on Alea's door again, he was about to invite the girl to go to an event at his company. At the same time, introducing Alea to her other co-workers.

Alea shouted from inside the room, the girl was still looking at her appearance in the mirror. The black satin dress on her body made her less confident. Moreover, the dress only covered up to her chest. His neck and hands were wide open, his back was also only covered with ropes that were not completely covered. Alea sighed, she was terrified that Eros would not like her appearance.

"Alea, we'll be late if we don't hurry," Eros shouted again. Not wanting to make the man wait, Alea now stepped towards her bedroom door and opened it, Eros appeared from behind the door. The coat on Eros' body made his appearance more dignified and handsome.

Eros seemed to have been born to wear such clothes. While Eros had opened his mouth gaping in surprise, Alea's appearance changed 180 degrees. If previously the girl was only beautiful and adorable, now Alea has turned into a sexy girl. Eros swallowed his saliva with difficulty, he immediately looked away, not wanting to stare at Alea's body any longer.

"Shall we go now?" Alea asked, the girl had already walked ahead of Eros and at that moment Eros could see Alea's white and smooth back. He seemed to have chosen the wrong dress for Alea, people could see the girl's body, and Eros didn't like it. He has a principle, 'what's mine is mine' because of that, he hates it when other people touch his property, or even just look at it.

“Alea wait,” Eros said while holding the girl's arm in front of him, Alea immediately turned her body and looked at Eros with confusion. Eros opened the jacket he was wearing, then put it on Alea's body.

"I'm afraid you're uncomfortable," he continued, and he walked ahead of Alea. Alea was silent for a moment, even though they were just strangers and had just met, but Eros treated her very well.

"Eros!" called his co-worker, the foreign man had pulled Eros and then hugged him tightly. Eros was busy chatting with some of his co-workers, while Alea could only stand beside the man. He rolled his eyes, looking around. Too many people, to make Alea uncomfortable.

She is someone who prefers to stay at home, and tends to avoid activities that are carried out with many people. Because of that, Alea doesn't have many friends.

"Who is this girl, Eros?" his co-worker asked. Eros turned and looked at the girl who had been standing beside him.

"This is Alea, my fiancée,” replied Eros, Alea only smiled when all of Eros' co-workers tried to get to know him. But when one of them tried to shake hands with Alea, Eros immediately held him back. He didn't let anyone touch Alea.

"Wow, even though when he was dating Emma, he wasn't guarded this strictly," said the co-worker while laughing jokingly, but from what he said, Eros understood that the person was trying to tease him.

"Why should I keep a woman who has been touched by someone else?" Eros said, all his co-workers fell silent. Alea who didn't understand, just stared at Eros confused, Emma? Touched by someone else? Alea didn't understand what was going on here.

"Oh yeah, I'll be distributing my wedding invitations with Alea soon, I beg you to take the time to come, okay?" Eros tried to change the atmosphere that was originally awkward, his co-worker immediately nodded his head loudly and congratulated Eros.

"Eros?" a woman's call made Eros and Alea turn around and stare at a woman in a red dress and shoulder-length hair arranged as prettily as possible. Alea chuckled jealously when she saw how elegant the woman who was now standing in front of her. Eros looked away, not wanting to look at the woman who turned out to be Emma, his ex-fiancé. Because Eros ignored him, Emma looked at Alea while frowning confused.

"Who is she, Eros?" Emma asked, holding Eros' arm. Request answers from the man. Eros shook off Emma's hand and stepped back. I don't know, since when, the three of them have become the center of attention. Alea scratched her neck nervously and at the same time did not understand the situation before her.

"So we got married because of you, huh?" Emma's target has changed, now Alea is her easy target. The woman stared at Alea sharply, she did not accept that Alea had taken Eros away from her.

"S-sorry, i don't understand. What do you mean?” Alea squeaked, she stepped back to avoid Emma's gaze that looked scary to her.

"You left me and our child for a woman like this? How could you!" Eros laughed at that, Emma really tried playing victim with him. Even though everyone here already knew that the woman was pregnant by David, not him. "You dream, huh?" asked Eros in between his laughs, Emma tried to act as if she were a victim, but Eros instead found her behavior funny.

Emma's cheeks flushed, she was embarrassed because Eros humiliated her in front of many people. Seeing Alea who was just silent, he pushed the girl's body making Alea pushed, and now she fell kneeling on the floor. Emma also took a glass of water, then spilled it on the girl's hair and laughed with satisfaction.

"Evil women really deserve it," Emma said while laughing, she was about to walk away, but Eros stopped her hand.

"Let me go!" Emma flinched when Eros' grip got even harder, in 3 years of dating, this was the first time she had seen Eros this angry. Eros took a glass of water and then spilled it on Emma's face, just like what that woman did to Alea.

"Stop being annoying or you and David won't be able to live in peace," Eros threatened, he released his grip on Emma's hand then pulled Alea and helped her up. Alea was silent, letting Eros embrace her and take her away from there.

She just realized what they were all talking about from the start that Eros was betrayed by the woman earlier and because of that Eros ran away from his marriage and chose to marry Alea who was only a stranger. She looked at Eros sadly, feeling sorry for Eros. This man must have been in immense pain.

"Why you staring at me?” Eros asked, confused, he realized that Alea had been staring at his face since earlier.

"Eros, are you all right?" The girl's question made Eros silent for a moment, it was the first time someone was worried about Eros' condition. Of course, Eros is far from okay, not because of Emma but because of her betrayal. Plus David, even though the two of them had been friends since childhood, David decided to betray Eros just like that.

And also his parents, Eros felt that he had disappointed his parents. Even until now, he didn't dare speak to the two of them. While he was busy with his thoughts, Alea's small hand pulled his hand and then hugged Eros' big body tightly. Her small hands were now patting Eros's back softly, trying to calm the man down.

Eros didn't understand why a stranger like Alea who now gave him peace and strength, Alea was truly an angel sent down to him.

"It's okay Eros, now you're not alone," said Alea, Eros nodded his head slowly. He hesitated a little to return Alea's hug, but eventually he hugged her back tightly.

Vanilla fragrance wafted into his nose, he just realized with the girl's distinctive body odor, and Eros liked it.

"Thank you," replied Eros, Alea let go of his hug and smiled broadly. A sweet smile, which made Eros stunned when he saw it. He felt lucky to meet this strange girl and decided to agree to marry her when she was in such a difficult condition.
