Adriano stood looking at Clarabelle who looked so beautiful and elegant. The bone-white dress wrapped around Clarabelle's petite body, making her even more attractive and charming. The flower crown that adorns her head makes her look even more beautiful.
"Honey, are you ready?" Adriano reached out to Clarabelle. A faint smile appeared on his lips.
With her heart pounding wildly, Clarabelle nodded. She took her father's right hand, and walked by his side, preparing to head for the place where she would meet the waiting groom. Clarabelle trembled slightly. Her heart couldn't beat normally. Her body felt hot and cold. Her stomach felt queasy as if stirred.
Clarabelle didn't know what her life would be like after this. What kind of man would she meet? Was he fine? Was he handsome? A hard worker and a loving person or… All the questions ran through her head, while step by step Clarabelle entered the area that had been prepared and decorated so beautifully for that special day of her life.
The guests have come to sit down. Not many attended. Several friends, including her two best friends Susan and Jack, were still not relieved by Clarabelle's decision. They were still worried that the man who came in this miraculous way would later inflict a wound on Clarabelle like her previous lovers.
"Smile, honey. That way you will be a little calmer. This is your happy day. Whoever that man is, rest assured he must be a good man.” Adriano whispered as they walked on the red carpet, between the rows of benches in attendance.
Clarabelle took a deep breath, forcing herself to see how Adriano saw her. It was a happy day. The man, waiting for her there, must be good. Actually, Adriano was calming himself down. He didn't want to think about the bad. He wanted his daughter to be happy in the most important moment of her life.
"Yes, Papa. I will." Clarabelle answered firmly, though her voice trembled because she was so nervous.
A rustling sound began to be heard. Especially in the row of the groom's family. Whispers praised the beautiful Clarabelle, the simple girl, or vice versa, not like the woman who was usually by Jordan's side.
At the altar, not a real altar - because the wedding was in an open, beautiful garden in one of the city's most luxurious restaurants - Jordan stared unblinkingly at Clarabelle who was slowly walking beside her father toward him. The closer, the clearer.
Jordan looked at her intently. Beautiful, very beautiful. Her face was soft and pleasing to the eye. But this woman wasn't very tall, nor was she red-haired. Her hair was dark brown, almost black. Jordan could confirm that the woman who will be his companion was not pure white. Obviously, because her father looks very Asian.
However, there was something attractive about her face. Jordan was not disappointed, because it was the first time he would be with a woman who has Asian blood. It seems that the story would be interesting in the reality show.
While walking by her father's side, Clarabelle didn't really set her eyes on the groom. There was a sense of doubt and fear if what she faced was not what she thought.
So close and looking at Jordan, it turned out he was a very handsome and dashing man. His eyes were light brown, and his hair was also brown, which suited him very well. Physically he was better than her ex-boyfriends. And seeing the look in his eyes, he seemed a kind and friendly man.
“Oh, my God…” Clarabelle thought to herself. An increasing sense of nervousness filled her heart.
"Hi, how are you?" Jordan greeted Clarabelle. The sound was crisp, not heavy, and pleasant to hear.
“Hi… fine, I'm fine.” Nervous, Clarabelle returned the greeting.
Everyone who was present laughed at the stiff attitude of the bride and groom. Especially Clarabelle who seemed shy.
“Yes, please introduce yourself first. So as not to mention the wrong name during the ceremony." The leader of the show teases the two. Laughter erupted again among those present.
"I'm Jordan. Jordan Gerald Hayden." Jordan held out his hand.
Clarabelle took Jordan's hand. She was getting nervous. “I… I'm Lala… oops, Clarabelle Aimee Johan.”
“You look great. Lala?" Jordan smiled.
"Yeah, Lala is my nickname. Thank you. You too, are great.” With a flushed face, Clarabelle complimented Jordan back.
“Wow, your hands are so cold. Nervous?” Jordan had not let go of their handshake.
"Yeah, sure. I don't know you, but…”
"I will be your husband," Jordan said, his eyes scrutinizing Clarabelle's beautiful face.
Clarabelle cracked a smile and it was quite charming. Jordan was relieved. The experts turned out to be smart in choosing a wife for him.
"Well, it's the time. Are you ready?” The master of ceremonies took over looking at the bride and groom.
"Yes, I am." Jordan quickly answered.
Laughter sounded again from the row of guests who came. Everyone couldn't wait for the wedding to take place.
Face to face and hand in hand. Clarabelle looked at Jordan with her head slightly tilted. Clarabelle was fascinated. Where did the experts find a guy as cool as this? Ah, her future husband looked so charming and smart.
Jordan looked at Clarabelle with his head slightly lowered. Even with high heels, Clarabelle still looked petite. Even so, her posture was quite plump and good. Jordan wanted to hug her immediately, hugging his wife.
"Before you are legalized as husband and wife, please say your pledge of allegiance." The master of ceremonies led back. "Please the groom first followed by the bride."
Jordan let go of his hand and pulled out a white paper from the pocket of the black tuxedo he was wearing. On that paper, Jordan made a promise that he never thought he would ever say. Moreover, he said to a foreign woman who in a few minutes would become his wife.
"I'm Jordan Gerald Hayden, accept you to be my wife, Lala ..." Jordan thought, he didn't remember Clarabelle's name correctly. But she was called Lala, it was funny too. "Well, Clarabelle, right?"
Clarabelle smiled and nodded with a blush on her face. Everyone laughed. It was funny how marriage between two people who didn't know each other yet.
“I know… Clarabelle Aimee Johan. Yes, I can do it." Jordan smiled widely. “I promise, I will love you for the rest of my life in all situations that we will face. I will learn to know you day by day and will allow myself to be a loyal companion who will be responsible for your life.
"I will make you the light of my life, lead you to happiness even though many unexpected things may happen to us. I promise I will not let you go but will hold you tighter with the love that I, knowingly, will give to you." Jordan looked at Clarabelle. He looked into clear eyes, which were not too wide, but naturally beautiful. The two eyes were also interesting.
Jordan's friends tried not to laugh. It seemed to them Jordan was shooting a film. It was strange to see the playboy making promises as if he was a man to rely on in terms of loyalty.
While Clarabelle, hearing those words, felt a chill run down her heart. She couldn't remember everything Jordan said as a promise, but what she caught was that he would fight to love her for the rest of his life. So sweet.
Clarabelle's turn arrived. With slightly trembling hands, Clarabelle read out the writing on the paper she had prepared.
"I'm Clarabelle Aimee Johan, accept you ..." Clarabelle looked at Jordan. So handsome. But there was also fear in Clarabelle's heart. Was this man really the right man for her? She would say the wedding vows, she would tie herself with the man until the end of her life. She would live with the man she didn't know, for the rest of her life! Was it right?
Jordan waited. The event leader was also waiting. Everyone was waiting.
"Miss Johan?" said the master of ceremonies as he looked at Clarabelle.
Clarabelle's heartbeat quickened. Standing in front of the man, though handsome, dashing, and charming, Clarabelle's mind was racing. Did she not make a mistake?"Miss Johan?" Once again, the show leader called out to Clarabelle.Everyone present was getting restless, Clarabelle was still staring at her groom. Clarabelle took a deep breath, she couldn't back down. She had to continue what she had decided.“I accept Jordan Gerald Hayden…”“Wow, you memorized my name right away?” Jordan answered.Laughter was heard again from the rows of guest benches. A faint smile appeared on Clarabelle's lips.“… I will love you, whatever I will go through, I will not say the word divorce. We are united in this marriage, a sacred bond, that no human being can separate. I will do my best to take care of you, and provide support and joy in your life. I want to completely be a faithful wife to you.” Clarabelle's eyes returned to Jordan. To this foreign man, Clarabelle laid down her marriage vows.It was
“I want to clean myself. I'm sorry…” Clarabelle stood up and stepped into the bathroom. She felt uncomfortable with that situation. She knew very well that Jordan would be angry, but Clarabelle had her reason and she had to be firm with it.Jordan just watched as Clarabelle disappeared behind the bathroom door. He felt a vibration from his trouser pocket. Jordan reached into his trouser pocket and pulled out the cell phone that was stored there. Ronald called."You bastard," Jordan cursed. How could his friend contact him at that time?"What do you want to call me now?" A little annoyed Jordan also received Ronald's call.“Haa…haa…” Ronald's laughter deafened Jordan's ears so he pulled the phone away."What are you doing? Have you had fun with your wife?!”Jordan glared in annoyance. That fellow of Jordan liked to make emotions rise the most. He also accidentally said your wife spelled that.“How can you have fun when a demon passes by!?” Jordan snapped. Ronald's laughter exploded aga
"We're here," Jordan said with a cheerful smile.Jordan opened the door to their hotel room wide. Again, an amazing expanse was in sight. The bridal chamber they saw next. Unique, with Balinese characteristics as trinkets for the beautiful room.“It's amazing.” Clarabelle came into the center of the room. She looked around, astonishment filled his heart. “I love it. I do.”Clarabelle's smile widened, looking at Jordan. She was getting used to having Jordan by his side. There was no awkwardness like the day before.“More than I imagined. Thank you, At the First Time I Meet You. I won't forget any of this." Jordan went one step further. He opened the door that led to the balcony of the hotel room. From the balcony, the open sea laid so beautiful. Dark blue, the sky above was bright blue. The beautiful moving clouds never tired of moving. While the wind was blowing against the face. The beach atmosphere was very pronounced.“Wow… it's incredible. Babe…” Jordan looked around. The admirati
Jordan smiled broadly as he sent the message to his three best friends. So far, for Jordan and his friends, to be with any woman, as long as they liked to do it, it was fine. But if they could get someone who was still pure, it was like winning a big lottery. That was why Jordan wanted his friends to know, their bet brought Jordan a lot of gain.Sure enough, the next few minutes Warren called him. Jordan chuckled. He could imagine what Warren would say. He didn’t want to wake Clarabelle, Jordan chose to go to the balcony and talked to Warren there."Shit! Aren’t you kidding?" Warren's words were exactly as they popped into Jordan's head."I'm not a good guy, but you know, lying is not my way to live. Unless I am forced to. Ha … ha …” Jordan chuckled."Why do you even get to be that lucky, huh?" annoyed Warren. How come? He and his two friends wanted to prank Jordan, why did the situation seem reversed?"It's my fate to be the happiest human being. Don't be jealous, it's useless," Jord
The last week. The reality show participants were sent home. They were given one week to think about whether to continue their relationship in the real world, outside the show, or choose to separate from the partner they met. There should be no contact at all between them. Jordan returned to his apartment and Clarabelle returned to Adriano. With a triumphant smile, Jordan met his friends. In the usual place, they gathered cheerfully and full of laughter. Of course, his friends didn't think Jordan could get by with just one woman for nearly two months. It was a record and they admitted it.“Then, you can still stand, not looking for a snack? Look at that, Jean's longing gaze and Leony's sweet smile are on you." Warren started to stir up Jordan."Let it be. I'm too lazy to deal with them." Jordan paid no attention to the women who expected him to approach."They're upset that you joined the event. But also find it funny, you can play recklessly like that." Ronald poured wine into his gl
Jordan stood in front of Clarabelle. His charming smile made Clarabelle's heart unable to beat normally. Jordan didn't dodge either, he liked looking at Clarabelle's gentle face. She was an admirer of beautiful women. And there was something different when he realized this beautiful woman in front of him was his wife."Babe, how are you?" Jordan hugged Clarabelle.Getting that welcome Clarabelle hugged Jordan back tightly."I'm great," Clarabelle said with a big smile."Do you miss me?" Jordan asked as he looked back at Clarabelle's two beautiful moon eyes.Blushing, that was the look on Clarabelle's face when Jordan asked.“Yeah… sure….” A little embarrassed, Clarabelle honestly admitted it. After two months together, she was getting used to having Jordan by her side. The whole time, almost twenty-four hours every day, they were alone. The longing was in Clarabelle's heart.Jordan smiled wider. It was nice to have a wife who missed him."Are you ready?" Jordan returned to his positio
Jordan took Clarabelle's hand, he pressed their bodies back together. Jordan could see Clarabelle's gaze slightly confused by her words.“Babe, as long as you are with your father, you are happy. And your father's happiness is you." Jordan searched for the right words, bringing Clarabelle back in the mood. "If it's better living with your father, I'll try to adjust."Instantly Clarabelle's smile widened. So far Jordan thought of her and her father. This man amazed Clarabelle even more.“I am so lucky to have you here, Jordan. Really." Sincerely from her heart, Clarabelle said that. "I can't wait to get started with you.""Me too, Sweetheart." And Jordan's soft kiss again made Clarabelle's heart swell with a growing sense of love. Clarabelle couldn't even understand herself. After so many years away from all forms of love, Jordan in just eight weeks was able to tear down the solid wall with the razor wire he had put up for the Adams.Jordan was relieved that Clarabelle had fallen in lo
Clarabelle's heart was beating so fast again. She looked at the beautiful old woman in front of the beautiful old woman. Her hand cupped Clarabelle's cheek with a smile that had not yet disappeared."What's your name again?" She asked with beaming eyes.“I am Clarabelle Aimee Johan. Just call me Lala." Clarabelle introduced herself again.“Beautiful name. As you are," said the grandmother with a sharp chin. She turned to Jordan. “Joy, you finally got married. Why didn't you invite me to your wedding day? It was someone else who came. I am annoyed. I should have been on the show.”“Grandma!” James was taken aback by his grandmother's words. How could she say such a ridiculous thing. They were the Hayden family!Grandma quickly turned to James. "Why should you be angry? Look, Jordan's wife is so sweet."Clarabelle, who had been tense from the first time she arrived, started to feel a little relieved. At least Jordan's grandmother was friendly and pleased with her presence."I'm Crystal
