Chapter 38: Wonder what she's like

It was deep in the night when Suzie returned to the Albrecht mansion.

Reyna enjoyed her time in the Lintons and even wanted to stay for the night. Suzie had to convince Reyna that it would be bad if they spent a night outside on their first trip.

Philip also agreed with Suzie and convinced Reyna. Fortunately, Reyna was in a good mood and finally accepted to go home.

Suzie learned a lot in this one trip.

First, the Lintons have a deep history comparable to the Albretchs. But in Xander's grandfather's generation, they lost most of their wealth. It was Philip who made a comeback.

Suzie wondered how Reyna saw Philip as a gentle sheep. When he was clearly a lion who pulled the weight of his family's debt on his back and continued to rise as to what they are now. Such a man who experienced winds and rain would not be a submissive pet but a fierce one.

Anyone who learned of Linton's family would know that Philip, the current head, was not simple at all.
