Ever since Amanda was hired, she had the perfect excuse of her job responsibilities to enter Chandler's office as she pleased. She could hug his arm in public and enjoy special privileges that I had never gotten.

"Since you're so eager to cut off all ties with me, then what's the point of keeping you in the company?"

Chandler was threatening me, but I simply found the entire thing hilarious. His threats held no power over me as I had no intention of staying wherever he was.

Taking out the resignation letter I had prepared beforehand, I placed it down on his desk gently.

Chandler didn't like me being a housewife, so he had gotten me an easy job at his company. However, other than him and Amanda, no one else knew my true identity.

In an instant, Chandler saw red. Grabbing the resignation letter, he ripped it to pieces and snarled, "Who said you could resign?"

How was it I had never realized he was such a temperamental man?
