Chapter fourteen

She woke up to the first two seconds into the intolerant noisiness of her alarm and stopped it without the slightest hesitation. It was only five-thirty in the morning; Enough time to tidy up and relax over a cup of hot chocolate before embarking on a long journey.

She made sure to round up in quietness not wanting to disturb her mum. 

She had breakfast while standing, her light brown eyes focused on nothing but the kitchen window, she gently sipped the hot brown liquid inside her favorite white mug as she watched the sunrise like a baby, painting the once black sky into a bright blue one with little to no clouds roaming it, however, some birds flew from one tree to the other chirping and chanting their mind soothing melodies.

Nature was indeed wonderful.

She snapped out of her reverie as she heard a door creak. Her mum must be awake already.
