Chapter twenty-four

"You look like you are about to hunt down a Buffalo," Kate said, walking past her daughter who had almost gotten the door off its hinges.

Actually, She was about to do so. Unfortunately, the buffalo was a reasonable distance away from her plus, she had more important things on her plate. So, the buffalo could wait.

Zaphrina sighted a bouquet of white roses cloak a face. She didn't have to brainstorm to know who it was. 

"Mason," she called.

He removed the roses off of his face making her come in contact with a grin. Stretching the bouquet to her hold, he said, 

"I couldn't sort you out among the congregation today and knew something was up. Your mum told me you couldn't make it because you aren't in your best of health. So..." He itched the corner of his eye. "I bought you these on my way."

With a smile, Zaphrina took the roses, smelled them and thanked him. She gestured her head for him to get in. 

She was glad
