Chapter 17

Lucy's pov;

The old guy turned his phone and asked, "Come on, give me your brother's number."

I turned on my phone and thought, 'Shall i tell him the truth?'

The door opened and Tyler walked in along with Lance. I let out a sigh of relief after seeing Tyler. Tyler called out, "Grandfather!" The old guy turned to him and waved him to come near. When Tyler came forward, i saw him breathing heavily and covered in sweats all over him. Did he ran all the way here?

The old guy pinched Tyler's ear and asked, "Where were you?"

"At the company." He said while struggling under old guy's grip. "It's paining, grandfather."

He let go of Tyler's ear and said, "I know the company is important for you but you're married now. And have a wife. And she's laying on the bed with her hand broken."

I interupted, "Actually, my hand is not broken. It's a hairline fracture…"

He shushed me and continued talking to Tyler, "From now on, you should be beside Lucy and take care of her till her hand gets healed."
