I was sent to the hospital. The cut from the knife wasn't too deep, but it'd scar if it weren't taken care of.

To make sure I didn't end up with one, Seth showed up like clockwork every day to put the ointment on. He cared more about my injury than I did.

Meanwhile, Rupert got arrested for assault, and everything went quiet for a while.

When I left the hospital, I ran into Mavis at the entrance. She was standing in my path like she was waiting for me. She looked pretty worn out.

It was the first time we'd run into each other since that party. We went to a café, and as soon as we sat down, Mavis apologized, saying, "Sorry for acting on impulse back then."
