"Wow, you are indeed growing into a beauty queen," Mateo’s voice could be heard as he walked into the house. It was a bright afternoon and he had come over to the mansion to pay her a visit.

"Father, I've always been a beauty queen," she said with a smile.

"Yes you are, that's why I chose you specially for Adrian," he said and they both laughed.

"I prepared your favorite," she said with a giggle as she walked over to the dining table.

"Hmm, that's my girl," he said with excitement as he walked over to the dining room.

"Where are the maids?" He asked as he saw her bringing out the food.

"Oh, um..your son gave them some weeks off," she said and he pulled a long face.

"Why?!" He thundered.

"No..nothing," she said as she dropped the tray on the table and stood up right.

"It's their normal tradition to go off by this time," she lied.

He heaved a sigh and looked at her face.
