FEW WEEKS LATER

She stood up from the bed as she saw him walking into the room. He could see the anxiousness on her face as she hurried towards him. She gave him a quick hug and took the briefcase from his hand.

“Honey, you scared me on the phone,” he said as he looked at her face.

“Madison was attacked. If not for Jason’s intervention, she might have been kidnapped,” she informed.

“What! It’s just a month into their marriage and this is happening?” He asked in dismay as he followed her to the bed.

“Yes, they are spending the night over at Jason’s father’s place,” she related.

“Didn’t Jason face such an attack earlier this year?” He asked.

“Yes, and I’m afraid someone is after their lives,” she said as she sat on the bed, tiredly.

“I just hope it’s not because of the company,” he said as he sat beside her.

“I think so, honey. It was a well planned attack and suspicions are arising. The company has not even been handed over to them, yet,” she said.

no because u shouldn't have no dealings with someone u know that likes or is in love with u. U should respect ur marriage and if he can't respect the fact that she's married they shouldn't be friends in the first place

I was really enjoying the book up until this point. Too many plots can ruin the story and can cause you to lose interest in it. That’s where I’m headed. I’m debating if I should continue reading the rest of this book

No it is not. She knows he has real feelings for her so to respect her marriage she should keep a distance from him. Even if she does not think it wrong it looks wrong and can cause misunderstandings
