(Dimitri ’s POV)

I walk around from one side to the other feeling restless, then I take a seat on the uncomfortable chair in the waiting room at the Central Hospital and I rest my arms on my legs. I slowly open and close my fist, my skin is itching from the burn I got when I went inside the house.

“Do you want a cup of coffee, Dimitri? You look like you need one,” Kirill comments as he hands me a cardboard cup from the vending machine.

“Thank you,” I reply curtly. “Have you seen my mother?”

“I think she is keeping Margaret company, she inhale a lot of smoke and the doctors wanted to run some tests,” Kirill explains to me. “What about Victoria? Have you heard anything?”

“No yet, they told me they would send a nurse to inform me once they were done with her,” I reply.

“Since we are already here, you should have a doctor see that hand,” he suggests as he takes a seat on the chair next to mine.

“Mind your own business,” I reply rudely.
