Chapter 15 - Who Is She?

Charlotte's POV

She turned to face the woman behind her who was speaking, and she noticed that she was being examined from head to toe. The woman was dressed entirely in black, except for her skin and her red hair tied up high, giving her the appearance of a street villain. She also wore heavy black makeup, including lipstick.

"Again. Who are you?" the woman asked again.

She couldn't talk, afraid that a mistake in her answer would cause the woman in front of her to shout at her.

"Are you dumb?" the woman asked, her brow furrowing even more. She shakes her head. "So. Why don't you try to answer my question? Who are you?"

"Charlotte," she answered.

The woman's eyes narrowed as she approached her slowly, causing her to blink slightly as her face came closer to hers.

"Seriously, your face is so smooth. Do you have skincare?"

She furrowed her brow. "No."

"What?" She almost closed her eyes, surprised by her scream. "That's unfair, you know. Look at my face; I've used so many products
