AUTHOR’S POV

Leaving the company early, Gavin was smiling and humming while driving his car home. The smile on his lips never leaves him as he patiently wait for the traffic lights to go green.

‘Will she like this?’

He thought as he glanced at the flowers beside him.

It was a rare and fragrant flower that he ordered overseas. It only blooms one in decades so it is very expensive that even high ranking officials didn’t know about the existence of these flowers.

Gavin remembered how the flowers that were delivered in the hospital impacted Madison’s actions.

Seeing his wife being in daze every time that he’s visiting saddens him. He remembers how energetic she was even though she sleeps for a day or two on normal days. He misses how they tease each other and how she smiles at him.

Her smile means a lot to him and he just realized that he wants to see that smile everyday for the rest of his life. But the image of her smile turned to the memories when she cried.
