18. A Party

Luna walked with unsteady steps along the campus corridor. She was still contemplating whether she should have the party or not. Sam was right, if she decided to go, the party would just be a place to embarrass herself. But, isn't it very good for Sam to repair his good name?

"Don't daydream while walking! An evil spirit will possess you, and eat your soul!" cried Jane who had just caught up with Luna's steps.

"You believe in something like that? I mean, evil spirits? Do you believe?" asked Luna with narrowed eyes.

Jane paused, then thought for a moment.

"There are so many movies and dramas about evil spirits, doesn't that mean they exist?" asked Jane doubtfully.

Luna shook her head slowly.

"Isn't that just a human fantasy? You can't see it, feel it, isn't it just a fabrication?!" Luna snapped.

After thinking for a long time, Jane finally shrugged her shoulders lightly. She believed in something like that, but she couldn't argue with Luna because she had never seen, or felt their pres
