38. Kidnapping

Sam's cell phone kept ringing while he was checking important documents belonging to Luna's father's company. Reluctantly, Sam tugged at the object and looked at the screen. Sam's brow furrowed as he saw Jane's name flash on the screen.

"Sam, Luna was kidnapped!" screamed Jane frantically as soon as Sam received her phone call.

Sam's eyes widened at Jane's words.

"What did you say?!"

"Luna was kidnapped! As we were getting out of the car to enter the cafe, a car stopped and pulled Luna inside. I tried to chase her but couldn't. I remember the number plate, I'll send it to your number!" Jane called quickly, then hung up.

Soon after, Sam gets a message from Jane containing the license plate of the car carrying Luna. Not wanting to waste any more time, Sam rushed to the police station to report this. During the trip, Sam called Luna's number, but she didn't pick up, and even the call was rejected.
