Mona’s hands shook as she switched to a new phone and called Fred right away. "What do you mean by that? Luke and Rue are gone? Didn't you keep an eye on them all the time? How can they be gone? What do you mean by "missing"?” She asked Fred a lot of questions all at once, and he didn't know where to start.

All he could do was groan. He could see that Miss Hunt was worried about the two kids, and now that they were gone, how could she not break down?

Fred, who felt helpless, told the police what had happened to the kids. That day, they were due to attend piano lessons, but Rue suddenly announced she didn't feel well before the class started. The nanny quickly called the family doctor, but when she got back, the kids were gone. They had turned the whole mansion upside down, but they couldn't find any signs of them.

The villa's staff members' names had been checked several times, and the villa's security had been raised to the maximum level. Nobody could get in without being seen. She rubbed her brow in annoyance and replied, "There's no sign of them on the villa's security cameras, is there?"

Fred was shocked, "Yes, that's true. I didn’t remember that.”

"Check the cctv camera, and then  go after the car of the piano teacher.” Mona gently told Tom, "The kids might be hiding in the trunk."

She took a deep breath once she hung up the phone. She pondered why her kids were so good during their video conversations, even saying they would wait for her to come back. They had planned this all along.

At the airport in Sky city.

In the middle of the terminal, two identical small figures stood with suitcases that were almost as tall as they were. They drew a lot of attention. A security guard came up to ask, and Rue, who was scared, took her brother's hand, but Luke was calm.

"Thank you, sir. Our mommy told us to stay still while she went to the bathroom.” Luke lied.

The guard was happy to see the kids so well-behaved.

"Luke, where's Mom?" Rue whispered to Luke.

Luke pulled out his phone and said, "I heard Mr. Jenner say Mom's address last time. We can go there right away.”

A notification on i*******m  caught his eye before he could start the map search tool.

{Mona Hunt is a mistress}

Luke shut his phone too hastily, and Rue, who didn’t see what her brother was looking at, inquired what was going on.

Luke’s small eyebrows furrowed as he took his sister's hand and muttered, "Change of plans! Mom is being bullied by a group of evil people right now. We have to beat them first!"

"Okay!"

When Rue heard that someone was tormenting her mom, she squeezed her little hand into a fist and nodded seriously.

Nate saw the two tiny ones struggling with their baggage as they departed the airport. He was getting ready to fly abroad with Leo.

Leo had to fly abroad again for contract talks because his last international trip had been cut short. He grimaced and asked Nate as he saw him look back at him a lot, "What's wrong?”

Nate quickly looked back and smiled. "Nothing, I just thought it was interesting to see two little ones having trouble with their suitcases."

Leo looked in the direction where the kids had been, following his gaze. He saw nothing as he looked over.

"Come on. Let’s go.”

Fred had called Mia by now. They had looked at the cctv and saw that Luke and Rue were really hiding in the piano teacher's trunk. But they had snuck out of the trunk and were last seen getting into a taxi with their bags.

It was evident where they were going, and Mona had to call Williams right away to ask him to help her look for them at the airport. They could have already made it to Sky city by now.

Mona was astonished to see Conan in the parking lot when she quickly got dressed and headed downstairs. She stopped and said, "Didn't you go home?"

"Fred was worried about you and called me about the kids being gone," Conan stated as he opened the car door. "Now is not the time to talk about this. Let's look for the kids."

Mona nodded and bit her lip. Conan soon calmed her down by saying, "Don't worry, Luke and Rue are smart kids. They'll be okay.”

Mona said, "I'm afraid they're too smart." She was angry that her five-year-old kids had the nerve to slip out of the villa and fly to another country. She wanted to give their little butts a nice smack!

Conan smiled and said, "They must have gotten their brains from me! Who else would think of such a brilliant idea?”

Mona couldn't say anything. They hurried to the airport and quickly saw the two tiny kids on the security camera film, pulling their bags. But instead of going to a gate, they went to the closest... Internet shop.

"What are they doing at a place on the Internet?" Conan was also confused.

Mona rushed to the airport site without waiting for an answer. The two kids were sitting in the lounge area of the place, and the receptionist was preparing to phone the police.

"Mom!" When Rue saw Mona, she forgot all about their covert escape and ran to her.

Luke, on the other hand, stood stationary with the bags.

"I missed you a lot!" Rue held Mona close and rubbed her neck.

Mona’s heart eventually calmed down, and tears flooded her eyes. Conan walked to the receptionist to explain, and then he picked up Luke while the receptionist looked at him with disapproval.

"You've got some nerve, young man!" Mona said. “Coming here with your sister. Do you want to make your mom very scared?

Luke pushed his lips together and gazed at Mona, afraid to say anything.

Mona looked at him sternly and said, "You have the guts to run away and come here without informing me first.”

"Go on," Conan said softly, "Your mom has been sick and worried."

Luke  carefully walked up to Mona and hugged her leg. He was relieved that she didn't shove him away, and then he started to cry. He was just five years old, and now that his mother was there, his brave front fell apart.

Mona’s  eyes turned red, and she bent down to hug both kids. She gave the kids a harsh look on the walk home and said, "How did you get over here? How could the airport let two kids fly by themselves?”

Rue and Luke gazed down and shared a look.

"Don’t you dare lie, I’ll know.” Mona remarked in a harsh voice.

The twins were identical, so they had an unspoken agreement. They had tried this trick many times to get Mona to feel sorry for them.

Luke looked at Mona for a moment to make sure her wrath had calmed down a little. Then he whispered, "We hired a man and a woman online and paid for their tickets so they could bring us here."

Mona couldn't say anything. She had always knew her kids were smart, but she didn't think they would come up with a plan like this. She paused for a bit before calling Fred on video. After searching all day for the missing kids, he finally felt better when he saw their naughty faces. Benita wasn’t around, if not the kids wouldn’t have escaped easily.Luke and Rue felt bad when they saw their butler’s tired, worn-out countenance. Mona said in a serious voice, "Mr. Jenner and the workers at the villa have been looking for you all day because you snuck out. They have only just now been able to relax.”The kids looked down. “You may tell Mr. Jenner, and apologize to him,” Mona’s voice got more and more serious as she said, "Don't sneak back without saying anything and making everyone worry about you." Luke and Rue’s round eyes filled with tears, and they said sorry to Mr. Jenner in childlike voices. Mr. Jenner quickly calmed the kids down and then hung up. Conan rushed to calm the

Sydney’s face went pale, and she rushed forward. "I..."She felt uneasy as Leo’s eyes seemed to see through everything. She avoided them and stammered for a long time. "The day she came back, and your eyes were always on her. I was confused and just..."Leo looked at the mark on Sydney’s arm and didn't say anything for a long time. Then he said, "This is the last time." Sydney quickly nodded, and her eyes blinked. Some things she didn't have to deal with; other people could do them for her. Leo called Nate and told him to take down the post about her that was trending today. "Are you just getting rid of the trending news?" Sydney was worried, "People are calling me a homewrecker online, and a lot of clients are demanding money from me choosing another actress instead,” Sydney said, "Do you want our unborn child to be called illegitimate?" When she saw that Leo still didn't say anything, but he looked at her earnestly. Sydney bit her lip hard since she knew there was no wa

Mona knew something was wrong right away when she went outdoors that night. People around her seemed to be pointing at her without her knowing, but once she looked their direction, they would move away and act like nothing had happened. She was ready to go to the store when Conan called and told her to stop. "Don't go out; someone has put your address online! Stay home; I'm on my way to grab you right now!” Conan’s voice was full of urgency, which made it evident that the issue was serious. Mona also seemed sad. It would be difficult for anyone on the internet to find her address in such a short amount of time, unless someone leaked it on purpose. It wasn't hard to figure out who it might be. She didn't want to fight fate, so she turned around and headed back. But then two men who looked sketchy stopped her. Their eyes moved over her body without shame. "You're the mistress, right? You do appear interesting.” "How about having some fun with us?" One of them made a lewd face. M

Mona’s heart almost broke when her tiny baby girl gazed at her, and she murmured softly, "One more month at most, then I'll come to see you, okay?" Rue’s eyes showed a tinge of disappointment, yet she still agreed like a child. Luke, who had been seated next to Rue, eventually spoke up after his sister and mother were done chatting. He said in a bossy voice, "Are you in trouble over there? Do you need me to step in and help?”Mona laughed, but she knew her young boy well enough to say, "Don't worry, I can handle the problems here. Okay, if something really hard comes up, I'll ask for your help.”Luke hummed in agreement. He was already a five-year-old little man who wanted to take care of his mother and sister. Mona didn't want to finish the video connection after having a nice discussion with her two kids. As soon as she hung up, Williams called and said, "Miss Hunt, Mr. Cox is out of the country on business. Harmony Pierce, the Cox Group's deputy general manager, will take over

Leo gazed at her for a second, then added, "The Gray family is not right for you. Get away from Conan Gray.”Leo pulled out his checkbook and started writing as he spoke? "How much money do you need? I'll give it to you.”He didn't think she could really care about Conan. For him, it was all about the money. Mona instantly laughed when she heard what Leo said. "Do you have twenty billion dollars?" Leo stopped writing and looked at her with a frown. Mona knew what he meant without saying anything: don't be ungrateful. She would have been worried about his look if it had been in the past, but now she wasn't. "Five years, and you haven't gotten any better, Mr. Cox. What more can you do besides tossing money around?” She stood up and hissed. The two faced each other across the coffee table in the peaceful villa, and for a minute, the mood grew strained. Leo glanced at Mona, who was pointing swords at him, and he felt a peculiar emotion rising in his heart, as if this version of her w
