Abby’s POV

I didn't know that one thing would make my life so much worse than it was before. I rubbed both palms together because it was getting cold, and when I looked around my place, I felt scared and alone.

The door opened, and he was there. He threw some clean clothes at me and unchained me without saying anything. Then he looked up to see my face.

"Go and take a shower...we are going somewhere, and don't ask too many questions because I won't answer any of them."

When he said that, it gave me hope, because if he meant that we were going outside, I could ask for help or even scream if I wanted to.
