Eric quickly shot back, "Oh, and you get to blame me all you want?"

His deep voice sounded aggrieved, leaving Rosalyn at a loss for words.

Was he a drama queen? He certainly knew how to make a fuss!

Eric tapped his clean fingers on the plate before him, gesturing at the many crayfish he had peeled. "I've peeled plenty of crayfish in my lifetime, but you're the only one who gets to eat it aside from me."

Rosalyn had no idea what he was getting at and simply replied, "I guess I lucked out."
