Gerald narrowed his eyes.

He got the same strange sensation again. North seemed to really care about his connection to the South family…

A glint appeared in Gerald’s eyes. “Not everyone has the right to see me,” he said in a relaxed and ambiguous manner.

After mulling over it for a bit, North understood what he meant.

He had no need to meet people of no importance. Fiona might be a part of the South family, but she was nothing when compared to those who had the blood of the South family flowing in their veins. North had also heard that Ronald South was not pleased with Fiona. If that were the case, it made sense that Fiona had never met Gerald before.
