Chapter 49

"The home is almost empty, the rest should be adopted by the week's end." The first person spoke and Tanya and Liam realised that there had to be two or more people speaking, except one of them was on a phone call.

That was a truth though because most of the other sisters who were no longer working in the orphanage.

The children were told that they were either transferred to a different province or they had to work in the church.

But Tanya and Liam had their suspicions.

Everything was happening too fast for them.

The children as well.

Just a week ago, there was twenty of them and in the last five days, twelve of them had moved in with new families leaving just eight of the children left.

*But why come pick a call in such a creative place.* The twins noted.

It wasn't only a secretive place, but it was also a very dark place as well.

Plus all the sisters had their own rooms and offices each.

*Why leave those places for somewhere without sunlight?* Tanya wondered and her thoughts
