Nash Part 3

He looked up at the captain remorsefully, "I am sorry, Sir, but did you not tell me that a dangerous female was set to kill you? I had the impression that we could not be too careful."

"Perhaps then, she can ride your horse and you can guide both mine and yours. Maybe you will remember not to be so hasty in your accusations." The tones were stern, but the look the captain gave was one of puzzlement.  Why had Sylvia come down off of her horse with a blade drawn on an innocent girl using herself as an alibi? Surely it must be to further throw off any suspicion. He smiled. That was amusing.

Sylvia herself did not know what had come over her. Mikail had not even seen the way that girl had looked at him, why did she come apart like that? She had no claim on him. It would be better for her if he did fall in love with someone else. That would make it easier to leave when the time came.<
