"What right do you have to kick us out of the family, Ambrose?" Bernard roared.

Winston was just as furious, but being a more cunning man, he didn't confront Ambrose outright. Instead, he turned to Edgar and said, "Father, Bernard and I have contributed a lot to the family over the years. Even if we haven't achieved much, our efforts can't be denied.
