Need a Run

When he got home, Cara was still there, and he heard her laughing with Alex in her room. He cursed, not liking the fact that Alex could hide behind her this evening.

He walked down the corridor to her room, and he realized that their laughter was this loud because the door was slightly opened. They must be so invested in whatever it was they were saying or doing that they didn’t hear his car come home, or maybe they just decided to ignore it.

“You look good in it, Alex, not like a cow as you’ve put it. I don’t know why you wouldn’t even believe how beautiful you are.” Cara said.
