He grabbed his suitcase and walked to the front door. As he entered, he looked around the warm house and saw that no one was in the living room. He walked there and threw his bag on the couch before proceeding to the kitchen. Alex was probably still cooking or maybe she was done already, but he needed to see her. There was good news so he was feeling a bit generous tonight. There was news about the concealed human, and that was enough to give him hope.
