Chapter 9 Prince

I stood in panic, realizing that as the guard had said earlier, no one cared about the life and death of prisoners. Someone had clearly poisoned my dinner. If the mice hadn’t eaten it, I would be the one lying on the ground now. So, who was behind this? Could it be Leon?

As I was lost in thought, footsteps outside the cell rang out again, and I clutched my skirt uneasily. Two guards arrived and opened the prison door, taking me away. I didn’t dare to ask them where they were taking me.
