Karen stood in front of the dressing mirror, slowly turning from side to side as she admired herself in the red ball gown. She gently ran her fingers over the smooth fabric, taking in every detail of the beautiful dress. Taking a deep breath, she turned toward Marcus, who was waiting nearby.

"How do I look?" She asked, adjusting a strand of her blonde hair.

Her gaze remained fixed on her mentor, Marcus, as she waited for his approval. She valued his opinion greatly and had silently promised herself to follow his judgment.

Ever since Charlotte's departure, Karen had been under the care of the maids, who actively  ensured her outfit was suitable for the party. The moment Marcus laid eyes on her, he knew she had made the right choice.

Her hazel-green eyes matched the dark-trimmed lashes that framed them beautifully. The iconic red ball gown she wore gave her an elegant appearance, perfectly matching her personality as the young princess of the Blood Moon Pack. Her almond-shaped face looked as delicate as a porcelain doll, while her smile seemed to shine like the moonlight.

"So, what do you think?" Karen asked, breaking his silence.

"Child, I'm literally speechless. I don't even know what to say right now. You look so stunning and gorgeous. I bet whoever your mate is, he's definitely going to fall head over heels in love with you the moment he sees you," Marcus praised her, clearly impressed by her beauty.

"Thanks for the compliments. I'm already feeling quite flattered," Karen responded shyly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

She seemed to be hiding something behind her back. When Marcus asked what she was hiding, she playfully tossed a sword toward him with a sly smile.

"There, I've got your sword back," Karen announced, her forest-green eyes sparkling with mischief.

Marcus's heart filled with joy when he saw his favorite sword, surprise etched on his face.

"Thank you. It's just like the last one. But how did you manage to get it back?" he asked, admiring the gleaming emerald stone on the hilt.

"A witch has her own ways of getting things done," Karen chuckled, standing tall and proud.

"So, Trainer Marc, what do you think? Do you believe they will eventually accept me? I'm feeling rather nervous about all this," she admitted, nervously twisting her fingers together as she sank into a nearby chair.

"I am confident that they will accept you, Karen. Your determination and skills speak for themselves," Marcus replied confidently. "Just be yourself, and they will see what a valuable addition you can be to the pack."

Before Marcus could finish speaking, a loud honking of a car was heard outside, catching the two of them off guard. Karen instinctively sniffed the air and all she could smell was the unmistakable scent of Lycans approaching the door.

"I think they're here," Marcus whispered, "This is your night, Karen. Get ready to enjoy it," he reassured, gently placing his hands on her shoulders.

Afterward, he headed toward the door to greet their unexpected guests. As the door swung open, Marcus exchanged polite greetings with the three men standing outside. Karen's heart skipped a beat when she saw the three muscular men entering the room. Mere looking at their eye color, she could tell the first man was a Beta with an elevated position, while the two others were Gamma werewolves.

"Good evening, Princess," the blue-eyed man greeted, bowing respectfully.

"I'm Beta Cullen from the Blood Moon Pack. Your father, Alpha Adam has sent us to escort you safely to the gathering," he explained, his voice formal and firm.

"Uhm... okay," Karen muttered, unsure of what else to say.

It was clear to her now that they had come on her father's instructions. With Cullen leading the way, they silently strode out of the cabin. As they made their way through the hallway, Karen felt a surge of joy at finally being allowed to leave her enchanted cabin. The outside world seemed to beckon on her. Shortly after, they stepped into a clearing at the woods, where a sleek black Bentley was waiting for them.

Overwhelmed by the moment, Karen took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air filling her lungs.

'God! Is this real? I'm finally stepping into the world beyond!' she screamed inwardly, her heart racing with excitement.

Smilingly, Karen ran her hands over the rough bark of the trees, enjoying the feeling of nature around her. She stood on her toes, the soft grass brushing against her feet as she made a happy twirl.

"Princess, we must leave now," Beta Cullen reminded her gently, his voice pulling her back to reality.

Hurriedly, Karen ran toward the car and opened the door. Before getting inside, she paused to look at her lonely cabin for the umpteenth time. Then she lowered herself and climbed into the backseat.

The car soon came to a halt when they reached their destination on the other side of the woods. Karen's eyes widened at the sight of a tall building surrounded by tall trees. For the first time, she felt the joy of finally returning home.

The house was covered in bright lights of different colors, creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. The soft sound of classical music filled the air, calming Karen's nerves.

Cullen stepped out of the car and opened the door for Karen. He took a moment to admire her appearance, making sure everything was perfect. He was amazed by her beauty and wondered how she had managed to maintain it, despite the injuries she had suffered during training.

"Princess, you look absolutely charming and stunning tonight. I had no idea that Alpha Adam had such a breathtakingly beautiful daughter," he complimented her, admiring her appearance.

"May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" he asked, his gaze resting on her.

"Karen," she replied simply.

"Hmm, that's a beautiful name for a beauty like you. Your mate is truly lucky. After you, ma'am," he grinned, stepping aside to let her enter the building.

"Thank you," she murmured, walking inside as Marcus followed behind her.

He placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and leaned closer to whisper in her ear.

"See? I told you everyone would love you. Now, let's go inside and rock the party," he said playfully, earning a shy smile from Karen.

The Creek Castle was one of the most exquisite and excellently designed buildings, known to be the tallest among all other castles in Everglade Woods. And that, she didn't intend to do."Tell him that I'm not coming with you people. I wanna be left alone for the meantime," Karen responded, attempting to close the door. But the man suddenly held the door frame. His grip tightened, causing a slight crumpling of the wooden frame. And now, the scene unfolding was even more heart-wrenching.The lady Damion referred to was none other than her blood sister, Charlotte, her only friend during her confinement at the cabin in the woods. Karen was escorted to her room and informed that her parents would join her shortly. Once she was alone, she took the opportunity to look around her new room. The room was spacious, just like her former room at the cabin, but everything about it felt more luxurious.
