Nova's POV.

Corvina turned to him, "What is she talking about? Go get the arrows, this is the big chance we've been waiting for."

She tugged at Killian's arms a little more than necessary but Killian still didn't move. He cast her an icy expression.

"There are no arrows, there are no attacks. I find it hard to believe that you'd team up with me, the same man who came here for a peace treaty. You really think I'd sit on my hand and let you destroy this kingdom? No way," Killian stated.

Corvina's jaws clenched as tiny veins appeared on her face, she lunged her hands forward, hitting Killian's chest.

"How dare you do this to me?! How dare you? I'm carrying your child and you want to betray me? No Killian. We're going to do this together! You will listen to me!" She yelled.
