Axel was behind the wheels of his car, driving to Rex's home when his phone rang. He was going to ignore the call but seeing that the call was from his father, he brought the car to a halt and picked the phone up.

He breathed in and out heavily, calming himself down before eventually picking up the call.

"Good morning, father" he greeted.

"Come see me, right now." The voice of his father did not hold any sort of pleasantness in it.

It made Axel stiffen for a second. The call ended before he could ask his father what was going on.

He bit hard on his lips and dropped the phone back to the other seat, his mind scanning the reason for his father's unpleasant tone.

There was only one reason that he could think of and that was that Rex had gone to see his father already.
