SIERRA

"I won!" I exclaimed, raising both hands.

"I used to be so good at this when I was younger." My mother groaned sitting on the marble ground pouting.

"Now, your very young child is beating you hands down." I grinned at her smiling.

She had approached me earlier on my way back to my room, I had every intention of sulking but the eager look in her eyes when she asked me to play made me suck up my protests and follow her. This was our third round and she was failing miserably.

"C'mon now Sierra, don't get all cocky on me." She grumbled. "One more round, I'll be sure to win this time around." She said picking up the cards.

After shuffling and sharing them, the game began.

"Where do I put this?" She muttered to herself as she tried to find a familiar card.

"There you are!" She placed her card and raised her hand.

"I won!" She got up and did a little victory dance. A pile of cards fell off her dress.

"No, you didn't!" I raised my hand to cover my mouth.

"I didn't?" She feigned igno

DANEWe watched as Sierra stormed out of the room in anger, a part of me felt as though I could understand how she felt, but a larger part of me couldn't risk exposing her to danger.I turned to Maya who was trying her best to hide her emotions. She was torn and hurt, My dad's hands held hers trying to comfort her.Throwing a glance at my brothers, I signaled them to follow me. I got up first."We're heading inside Dad," I said to him, he nodded in response before I turned to leave with Kane and Zane following closely behind me. On getting to my room I pushed the door open while they walked in. Immediately they were in, I entered making sure to lock the door firmly behind me."Did you get the leaves?" I asked Zane."Yeah." He pushed out a bag from underneath my bed towards me. "Here it is." He said."Alright."Kane and I gathered the leaves in a heap and then lit the sage. We normally practiced this whenever we needed to calm down, think, and make serious decisions. We sat facing eac

SIERRAI lay on my bed buried in the books I had borrowed from the library the other day. Every book I read kept emphasizing the danger involved in the ritual process but I was done being afraid. Everything on earth involves taking risks.I signed, "Life itself is risky? isn't it?" I muttered, closing the book. From the information I'd gathered, the ritual has killed more than it has saved but I was willing to risk it, I had almost died once, and I was willing to do it again. My throat felt patched so I knocked on my bed stand and a maid came in."Could you get me some juice please?" I asked and she bowed deeply."Yes ma'am." Came her reply. It felt awkward, I still haven't gotten used to servants paying obeisance to me."Umm…Thanks." I muttered as she exited the room.I returned to the book, trying to find a way to avoid the consequences that followed the ritual, if there must be a ritual so dangerous, there ought to be a way to avoid the dangers involved, there ought to be a proces

KANEI kept thinking of what Dane had said, he was right, if we all accepted Sierra as our mate, she would get stronger and even more powerful, we could share our Lycan blood with her through our bond and there would be no need for the ritual. Recently, I was beginning to show interest in our bond with Sierra, I had no intention of rejecting her anymore, if all of us being with her could save her then that's it.My mind went back to what Zane had said, he too was right although he has been acting a bit strange lately when it came to issues that are related to Sierra. I needed to speak to Dane, after the argument, when Zane stormed out, Dane too had left to think, but I needed to find him and speak to him.I jumped out of my bed and went out of the room to Dane's room. I kicked the door open but he wasn't in. The sage we had lit was gone too with no traces left."Dane?" I called out just in case he was in the bathroom but there was no reply. He was probably in the garden, he has a th

SIERRAAfter I felt Zane's fangs on my neck, I passed out for a little while due to the pain and shock. On opening my eyes, the first thing I saw was Zane throwing my dresser at Dane. I opened my mouth to scream but nothing came out. The fight was intense as though they wanted each other's blood. I opened my mouth to tell them to stop it but my mouth couldn't fathom the words, I held back a scream as Dane buried his teeth in Zane's thigh while Kane did the same to his shoulder. The next thing I heard was Thane's voice, he sounded very angry. Who wouldn't? His sons were trying to kill themselves in his house. The boys paused and stared at him in shock. My mother had her hand over her mouth in shock. My room was a mess, the dresser was damaged with pieces of wood splattered across the room, my windows were shattered and with shards of glass littered around the room, and what's worse, they had broken my door.Thane stared at the debris in the room carefully, "Seems like you boys have a

SIERRA"Will you be gone for long?" I asked, following closely behind my mother like a little kid."Perhaps." She replied and I pouted. "Aww." She cooed at me. "Don't tell me you're suddenly missing me." She asked with a huge smile on her face.Thane's rich baritone laughter filled my ears. Who would believe that he just grounded his kids a few minutes ago?"Not really." I grinned at her while she gave my bum a light pat."Wait here, I'll get the car," Thane said, letting go of my mother's hands."I already told the driver that we're going out, he will be here soon." She said and Thane nodded, taking hold of her hand again. "You look so beautiful, mom." I complimented her.Her hair was packed in a beautiful bun, her ears were decorated with very beautiful pearls that matched her necklace. She wore a silver knee-length gown that appreciated all her curves. Thane stared at her with a proud smile on his face."Thanks, Sierra." The driver pulled over. "Try not to miss me so much." She

SIERRASlowly, I opened my eyes, as sun rays beamed into the room through the window. It was a beautiful morning. I yawned trying to move my legs when the pain hit me.In between my legs were sore, memories from last night flooded my head and I blushed furiously feeling giddy. Our make-out session was intense, the boys had gone all the way with me, and they all took turns appreciating my body as though they worshiped it. I bit my lips as I felt myself getting wet again.I didn't recall when and how we had fallen asleep, but I was tangled with the boys on the bed.Zane was lying by my left side with his arm wrapped around my waist, by my right lay Kane with his arm resting on my very naked breast while Dane lay in between my legs with his head resting on my stomach. My mind wandered to the previous night, how his tongue had dealt mercilessly with my clit. I hid the squeal that threatened to erupt from my mouth, I couldn't believe that I had become intimate with three guys.I decided t

SIERRAAs soon as we heard the cry, my mother jumped down from the desk and we ran out of the room."Where was the cry from?" My mother stopped at the beginning of the stairs to ask a passing servant. The servant bowed first before answering. "The cry came from the outer lawn." "Thanks." With that, we raced down the stairs heading to the outside lawn. It was very unusual to hear such a cry in the mansion, the person seemed to be in so much pain and what made it weirder was the fact that it came from a woman.Aside from my mother, the female servants, and I, women barely entered the mansion and if they did, it wasn't to this part of the mansion, but to Thane's meeting room which was located in another part of the compound. "What could have possibly happened?" I muttered hoping that it was nothing serious. We got outside to the lawn to find a woman rolling on the ground. She was dressed in the same uniform as our maids, so she was working for us. The triplets stood at the other end

SIERRAI sat in my room wondering what was going on in the minds of the triplets, they were acting so suspicious and it was obvious they didn't want to talk about it. A knock sounded on the door and I got up to answer it."Good morning Thane," I said with a small smile. His lips curled up in a smile. "Good morning Sierra, how are you doing?" He asked. The smile didn't reach his eyes, he probably had a lot on his plate as the king, and now, rogues began appearing mysteriously in the mansion making it even harder."I'm doing okay," I replied, returning the smile. "How are you feeling?" I asked. He sighed, "I'm fine my dear." His smile widened. "Don't worry about me, You have to get ready for school, the boys will go with you." He said.I nodded, staring behind him."Looking for someone?" He asked with a knowing smile."Yeah, where's my mom?" She was the one who usually came over to my room to tell me to prepare for school. He placed a hand on my shoulder, "She sent me over because

  • Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers   Chapter 349

SIERRAI stood frozen, my eyes wide and my stomach turning. The rabbits weren’t moving anymore. The white one had stopped twitching first, then the brown one slumped beside it. My hands were still outstretched, fingers trembling as the energy from the failed spell faded into the air like smoke. The silence that followed was unbearable. It was as if the whole world had paused to judge me, to make me feel the weight of what I had just done. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t even blink. All I could do was stare at what my magic had done. The warlock didn’t say anything at first. He just walked up to the small wooden pen, stood over the lifeless bodies, and looked down with a heavy sigh. His face gave nothing away, no anger, no sadness, just quiet acceptance of the outcome. Then he slowly turned to face me."This," he said, his voice low and sharp like a blade slicing through still air, "is what would have happened to your sister and Ariel if you had jumped into this blindly."The words hit

  • Mated To My Lycan Stepbrothers   Chapter 348

SIERRAI had just finished spending time with my mates. My body still felt warm, and for once, my mind was quiet. I was finally beginning to feel like myself again. But then I heard shouting from outside. My heart jumped. I threw on a robe and rushed out.I barely made it past the hallway before I saw everyone gathered in the courtyard. And in the middle of it all… Ariel. Screaming. Crying. Holding a knife.“What the hell?” I whispered under my breath, my eyes widening.“I said let me in!” she yelled, her voice cracking. “You’re not the only one who loves them! I deserve to be in there too!”She was pointing the knife at her own chest, trembling like she was seconds away from doing something stupid.I didn’t even think twice.I raised my hand and whispered the first protection spell that came to mind. A shield burst around her in a dome of blue light. The moment it closed around her, the knife fell from her hand and clattered to the floor. She looked around in confusion, then rage.“W

ARIELI paced the hallway, scowling, my arms folded tightly across my chest. For the fifth time, I tried to step forward, right into the damn hallway, and for the fifth time, it felt like I’d slammed into a wall. But there was no wall. Just… air. Heavy, invisible, and impossible to pass through."What the hell is going on?" I growled, pushing again, harder this time. Nothing. It was like the space itself refused to let me through. My breath hitched as anger flared in my chest. I wasn’t someone who got denied things. Not rooms. Not people. Not Dane.I turned on my heels and stormed down the hallway, heading straight for Maya’s quarters. If anyone knew what kind of stupid magic trick was being pulled, it had to be Sierra. I knew her mother was always around the others. Always listening. Watching, and I needed to see her, and I asked what the hell was going on.When I got to her door, I didn’t knock, I kicked it. Hard.“Ariel?” Maya’s voice called out, soft and hesitant. She opened the d

SIERRAThe warmth of their arms around me made it easier to breathe. The tension that had wrapped around my chest like a tight rope was starting to loosen, bit by bit. Zane’s steady heartbeat under my cheek, Dane’s arms around my waist, and the calmness in Kane’s eyes, everything felt safe here. I felt like I was finally home. But it wasn’t just the comfort. It was the way they looked at me. The way they held me was like I was the most precious thing in the world. Like they’d fight the stars if it meant keeping me safe. I hadn’t realized how much I needed them until this moment. I needed to feel wanted, needed to be touched, loved, needed to feel alive again.“I’ve missed this,” I whispered, glancing up at Zane, my fingers gently resting on his chest.“We’ve missed you more,” he replied softly, brushing his lips over my forehead.“I don’t like seeing you this stressed,” Dane murmured behind me, nuzzling into the crook of my neck. “Let us help you relax.”Kane was kneeling beside me ag

SIERRAI ran out of the room angrily and frustrated. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I didn’t want to explain how I felt, not even to Alpha Thane. I just needed to get away, to let the frustration and fear out in a way that made sense. And that’s why I shifted. The air felt cold on my fur as I ran, my paws pounding the earth beneath me, my mind barely able to process anything except the need to escape. My heart was racing, and the adrenaline pumping through my body only made the anger and fear swirl together like a violent storm.I ran deeper into the woods, ignoring the world around me, just focused on the rhythmic pounding of my paws. The trees blurred by in a mixture of green and brown, the earth beneath me firm and solid. But even in my wolf form, the worry gnawed at my insides, and all I wanted was for the weight to lift, even if just for a moment.Eventually, the tension in my body started to ease just a little, but I wasn’t running anymore. I slowed down and then stopped, my b

SIERRAI walked into the room, my mind racing with questions. The man, the warlock, was standing by a table covered in books and strange artifacts. His eyes flickered up when I entered, and I could feel the weight of his gaze. He knew why I was here."You are here," he said, his voice calm but heavy with something I couldn't place.I didn't waste time with pleasantries. "I need your help," I said bluntly. "I need to learn how to use my powers. And I need to do it fast."The warlock raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable. "Binding spells," he said slowly, almost to himself, "are tricky. Especially one like the one you're asking for."I didn’t have the patience for his caution. "I don’t care about how tricky it is," I snapped. "I need to stop her. Ariel is... she’s going to ruin everything. I can’t let that happen. I just need to know how to make it work."He looked at me, the seriousness in his eyes growing. "Binding spells are not something to take lightly. They tie you to someo

SIERRAI could feel my whole body burning with anger as Ariel’s voice cut through the garden like a sharp knife. She just stood there, smirking at us like she hadn’t just interrupted something important, something real.I turned to her, fists clenching at my sides. "Don’t you have anything better to do than irritate me?" I snapped, my voice louder than I intended. Dane shifted uncomfortably behind me, but I didn’t care. I was tired of her games.Ariel just giggled like I had told her a joke. "Nope," she said with a sweet shrug. "Turns out, irritating you is way more fun than I ever thought it would be."I wanted to slap that smug smile off her face. I really did. But I held myself back because that's exactly what she wanted, to push me until I broke. Then she turned her full attention to Dane, her smile softening in a way that made my stomach twist in disgust. "I miss Dane," she said in a whiny voice. "I want him to stay with me for a while."I stepped protectively in front of Dane w

DANEI woke up to the sound of soft giggles. My head felt heavy, like I’d slept for days, and for a second, I didn’t even know where I was. But then I blinked and saw her, Ariel, sitting at the edge of the bed, grinning at me like I was some kind of adorable pet.“You look so cute when you’re sleeping,” she said in a sing-song voice. My whole body tensed up instantly. Memories rushed back….the food, the plan, everything. I shot up, heart pounding.“What happened?” I croaked, throat dry.Ariel gave a playful shrug, almost like she was proud of herself. “You tried to drug me, silly. But I’m smarter than that.” She leaned in closer, lowering her voice like she was sharing a secret. “I swapped the plates. You ate the laced one instead.”I cursed under my breath and swung my legs off the bed. I couldn’t even look at her as I stood up."Aw, don't be mad," Ariel called after me as I stormed toward the door. "You needed the rest anyway!"I didn’t answer. I just left. When I finally made it do

SIERRAI didn’t move. None of us did. We just stood there and took it as Ariel laughed like we were the biggest fools she had ever seen. Her voice echoed off the walls, high and sharp, like a knife digging into my already shredded nerves.“Oh, my sweet, sweet Sierra,” she said between giggles, wiping a fake tear from the corner of her eye. “You actually think a few little weeds are going to save your precious sister from me?”I kept my face blank, even though my heart was hammering against my ribs. If I gave her any more reason to doubt me, she would tear us all apart.Ariel circled slowly around me, hands clasped behind her back, her boots clicking softly against the floor. I could feel the others tense up, ready to move if she tried anything. She leaned in close, so close I could smell the sickly sweet scent of her perfume. “You have no idea what you’re dealing with,” she whispered. “No idea how deep this bond goes.”I clenched my teeth to keep from flinching. I would not give her t
