Olivia's POV:

"We were waiting for you both to arrive before we contact the doctor, so that it doesn't look like we have altered the test result," Mr. Grayson said, his voice soft, and I nodded. "Okay, sir."

A few minutes later, Dr. Sam walked out of his office on the first floor and looked at us in shock. He was wearing a white doctor's coat, black trousers, and a pair of black shoes. His eyes widened in shock at the sight of me, especially when he saw me standing next to Mark in the lobby.

When Mark saw Dr. Sam, his hand instinctively flew to hold mine in a possessive way, marking his territory.

Dr. Sam's brow furrowed when he saw Mark's right hand entwined with mine.

Mark didn't give me a chance to pull my hand away, and I smiled bashfully.

"Good morning, Doctor Sam," I greeted him, as he was my doctor and my best friend's older brother.
