Phoebe’s POV

Day and night crept wastefully away yet, there was no news about Nathaniel. No one could tell me where he was. I was becoming lean. Weak inside. Strong before the pack members.

To make matters worse, a few days ago after I contacted a nurse to come over to the pack house to have my body checked, she broke the surprising news to me. I was carrying Nathaniel's child.

Glancing at my stomach as I sat lonely on the bed that night, the strength to carry the child slowly left me. It was supposed to be good news. For celebration. But it's an elegy now and a burden to me.

Kara. She was right. She was the first to announce the news about my unborn child to me. Yet, I still find it hard to trust her.

I gulped. My stomach churn. I had always doubted Kara’s sincerity towards me and our pack. She was once with our enemy. It's not easy to throw caution carelessly to the wind.

She seems nice. I needed a companion and a smart lady like her by my side but we're like fire and ice. Thi

Duncan’s POV “ You're coming with me right now” I pulled Phoebe to myself. She was weak and vulnerable due to the substance I had drugged her with. Screaming, she hit my chest hard. “ Let go of me, you cannibal. I am no longer your mate. Don't you get it?!” She continued punching my chest as I tried to carry her in my hands.“ Don't be stubborn. You know how much I have loved you, right?” I asked, sweat from our struggles dripping off my face.“ We can never be together. Never!” She barked at me. Phoebe kept being stubborn. She was weak yet It was a huge task trying to get her into my hands. She kept screaming and wiggling her body but I succeeded in carrying her and we headed for my car that was parked outside. Phoebe tried calling for help but she later kept mute after she realized no one would hear her out. It was more like a thick forest with just a few incomplete buildings. The place is a desolate pack which wasn't too far from my pack. “Let me go, you blood sucking demo

  • Mated To The Enemy Alpha   Chapter 135

Phoebe's POV I woke up and found myself in an unknown building with no one around me.The place was a bit dark and except for some windows which were opened to bring in light, the place was entirely dark. Also, the place was extremely large, more like a temple. My eyes immediately shut down again after my mind had pictured the place. I was so weak that all parts of my body didn't function. It was more like I was paralyzed or half dead. All throughout the time I lay on the ground, I couldn't help the way my nose and mouth burnt. I was feeling hot from both parts. Although weak, I was forced to wake up due to this discomfort I was having all over my body. Until this moment, I didn't realize I was in an unknown and unsafe place. The marble floor was almost good for relaxation which made me think I was home and safe. Steeling myself, I raised my head from the floor and tried to sit upright. Because of the burns in my nose and mouth, I continued sneezing and wiping my mouth just to

  • Mated To The Enemy Alpha   Chapter 133

Duncan’s POV I decided to take a walk around the pack house after I woke up. No doubt, I felt a little peaceful within myself. I didn't bother to call for the attention of the servant from last night. She has done all that she needs to do. The peace she left with me. The aura her presence carried. All still supported me. They helped me forget Antonio and Stephanie.I walked outside with the same peace and opened the door quietly just as I have learnt from the small servant girl. The bright morning sun pierced through the lens of my eyes and I blink uncharacteristically. This told me how long I had slept. No one in the pack house saw me leave the house. Everywhere was extremely quiet too. Then, I saw Phleps, the spy I had sent to Nathaniel's pack, coming towards the pack house. From the way he marched towards me, I knew he’d have some good news. At least, that should be enough to suppress the burden Antonio and Stephanie’s disappearance caused me. “ Alpha Duncan” he bowed

Nathaniel’s POVMy men succeeded in defeating Alexander and Cole although some of them ended up in the same scenario as me . They were blinded by Katarina, the whirlwind wolf.Alexander was rendered helpless and almost lifeless.I had warned my men never to Pierce him with the edge of the sword. Killing him was far from the plan. According to my men, Alexander fled for his life and had fallen down a Rock.Cole's survival after the battle would be determined by his fate. According to my men also, Cole was lifeless but Katerina had escaped the battlefield using her special powers . After the battle ended, the rest of my men returned to where I was lying. I was unable to see but could hear some of my men screaming because of the pain in their eyes. The pain was more excruciating than the pain of being pierced. “Alpha!” I heard Alice’s voice. She was breathing heavily“What happened to you?” Alice's hands were all over me. I guess she was trying to see how hurt I was. “ Don't worry ab

Natheniel’s POV” How dare you?” Alexander bemoaned. His expression, brutal and showing how unfortunate he was. “Do you think you can take the pack away from me?” “ The pack is mine. But if you love yourself and want to live, then, keep running and never look back” I replied with a calm voice that triggered more hate in Alexander. He turned unexpectedly at me and gave me another blow on the face. I staggered and drew back but he came closer, ready to punch me in the face again . I quickly held his hands this time around, sustaining it in the air. “You’d better not come an inch closer” I challenged Alexander. He gave a throaty laugh and put his hands down. He knew I wouldn't spare him if he raised his hands to hit me again. “ I will come back for you, Natheniel. I will certainly take my inheritance from you. Traitor!” he spat out, his breath thumping in his chest.I pulled back, showing how much I wasn't ready for war with my blood brother but Alexander kept making a fuss, ready t

  • Mated To The Enemy Alpha   Chapter 130

Alexander’s POVThe night crept In steadily and slowly, making my scheme easy for me. Alex, has been helpful. He kept me and the people who came with me safe. From what I heard, Nathaniel is still in the nuclear territory with his men searching around for me. All thanks to Alex who agreed to accommodate us in his chambers.“Alpha. Are we leaving tonight? This might be dangerous . I suggest we move tomorrow morning before sunset” Cole, the warrior who came with suggested. I glanced at Cole, my head burning, with rage. I wanted to behead him for uttering such an abominable word but I kept still and held my peace. “Just do as I have instructed, Cole. Don't ever utter a word” I shot him an angry gaze. Cole lowered his gaze, unable to speak further and he quickly apologized.“I’m sorry, Alpha. But it's not completely safe to leave tonight. I smell danger looming from afar” He genuflected and moved backwards. “ Enough Cole!” I barked at him. Alex and Katrina, the lady who came with

  • Mated To The Enemy Alpha   Chapter 129

Nathaniel’s POV My feet ached and my head spun from inside as we continued with our journey. For days now, Phoebe has been the only thing occupying my mind, making my brain function less. Yet, I didn't lose my sanity completely. I knew I needed to be fit just to win the battle before me.We slumped, stepping on dried grasses from the trees that stood tall in the woods. I could barely find a house and was wondering where we were heading to. But I maintained my peace which gave my scout the courage to continue with the journey.“ Alpha, are you sure about this woman?” One of my men asked, doubt registered in his eyes. “ We’ve been walking for an hour now. I think she has a plan” “ That is the reason we should continue silently. To figure out her plan” I said, my voice consoling but firm enough to make my men follow me.From afar off, we began to hear footsteps approaching us. The footseep were heavy. I don't completely believe they are werewolves. Maybe some wild beast. “Can you

  • Mated To The Enemy Alpha   Chapter 128

Nathaniel’s POV The days passed and we continued relentlessly in our search for Alexander. The neural territory was deeper than I and my scout could fathom. All day, the memory of Phoebe kept hurting me in my mind. We had walked a mile and had left the darkest part of the territory. At least, my men and I were able to get a place to rest our heads in the outskirts of the pack not too far from the neutral territory. As we sat resting from our Long journey, one of my men walked up to me . They were all exhausted. Yes, I see their frustration. But one thing is certain. They too, were unwilling to give up. “ I found someone who knows exactly where Alexander is hiding. We should hear her out” He suggested to me, careful not to get me provokedI wiped the sweat off my face and leaned my back on the crumbled wall where we had seen to rest. This time, I was not willing to listen to anyone but to follow my mind . They all had given us nothing but false information about Alexander and I
