Chapter Six

Alexa's Point Of View

Without thinking twice, I turned in the opposite direction and started running for my life. The vampire was still holding onto the hem of my sleeve.

"Why are you running?" He yelled after me but I didn't reply. I looked back to check if Master Raga was behind us and he actually was. I let out a yelp and increased my speed. The vampire must have noticed Raga so he left my sleeve and held my hand.

"I have no choice but to do this right now." He told me as his grip on my hand tightened. "Bare with me,"

What other choice do I have?

I nodded at him and faster than I could blink, he pulled me into his arms and took off with me at full speed. The wind blew harshly over my face and I held onto him tighter as his speed increased. It got to a point I couldn't see what was before me. It amused me how he could figure out where to turn to and pass.
