I had a feeling of unease in the next days following my encounter with my father and Keira, but I could not place my hands on what it was that made me feel this way. I just knew that something was about to happen and whether for good or bad I was not sure. My wolf was equally silent as if we were doomed.

As I walked through the mansion on my way out, I noticed that there was a lot of activity going on. Maids and pack members were bustling about, and I could hear the sounds of hammers and saws from the construction outside. I stopped one of the maids and asked her what was going on.

"Oh, Jaden," she said, with a smile. "The Alpha ordered us to prepare for a wedding taking place in two days' time."
