NARRATOR’S POV

Jaden sat in the cold and dimly lit dungeon, his wrists bound by silver chains that drain his strength. Alpha Zain and Princess Sophie stood before him, their faces contorted with superiority and disdain. They hurled insults and taunts at him, trying to provoke a reaction, but Jaden remained silent, his eyes filled with a mix of defiance and pain.

"Look at you, Jaden," Alpha Zain sneered. "A supposed prince reduced to a mere prisoner. Willow has left you for a real alpha, someone worthy of her."

Sophie joined in, her voice dripping with scorn. "You were always weak, Jaden. A failure as a prince, a failure as a leader. No wonder Willow abandoned you. She saw your true nature, or rather, your lack of it."

Their words stung, like sharp arrows piercing through his heart, but Jaden refused to let them see his vulnerability. He knew their aim was to break him, to crush his spirit, but he was determined to hold onto his pride and inner strength.
