Selene was done making a hangover soup and walked into the room with the tray in her hand. Dominic was already awake and looking around the room.

“Hi,” She said and dropped the tray in front of him.

“How did I get here?” He asked and she rolled her eyes.

“Are you trying to tell me that you don't remember anything?” Selene asked with an eye roll.

Dominic tried to recall all that happened, but was hit by a throbbing headache. Selene tapped the hangover soup, and he looked at her. She signaled for him to take it, and he sighed.

He picked it up and started downing it immediately.

She chuckled. “I know it's tasty, but please be careful.” She warned, but he rolled his eyes.

When he had drunk enough, he realized that he actually felt better and the urge to throw up was gone.

“Thanks,” He thanked her with a sigh, and soon everything he did started coming back to him. He wasn't bothered by the rest, but when he recalled telling her not to leave him, his eyes widened. “There's no way I sai
