“Prince Dominic, it's nice to see you today.” Alpha Draco smiled as Dominic walked in.

“Quit the formalities, Alpha Draco. What are you doing here?” He asked and took a seat.

“I just came to discuss about the ally with you. You know, time is no longer on our side. There was a building project I was working on with your father, and its benefits comes from the ally as well. We need to be hasty so things can go according to plan.” He said.

“Why wasn't I informed about the building project?” He asked and faced Queen Bathsheba.

“You didn't have to know, Dominic.” She answered.

“Why? I am going to be the Alpha. Shouldn't I be informed about the happenings in my pack?” He asked and his mother sighed. “Wait… you think I'm incompetent.”

“No!” Queen Bathsheba answered immediately.

“That's what you're thinking, mother. You think I can't handle big things like this. That's why you only give me small projects to take care of. Mother, you don't trust me. You don't trust what I can do.” He said
