“But, you said…"

“I know what I said, Lilian!” Daemon's voice was raised to match Lilian's furious tone.

“It has been five months now! Daemon, five full months, and you haven't said anything about progress!”

Lilian stood on the patio of the house that they both lived in, leaning into the wooden walls and folding her arms, she glared angrily at Daemon who was on his way out of the house.

“I. Am. Working. On. It.” He spelled his words out slowly with gritted teeth.

What had gotten into her this morning? Why was she nagging him this early morning?

“You say the same thing every day! That's all you've said for the past five months! When will all these be over? I'm tired already!” Her chest was heaving as she shouted into the clear morning air, the anger welling from within her.
