Samantha's Pov

I was alone with my thoughts in my room. Luca went out earlier. Although it's been a day since I told Killain the truth, I still felt down.

Talking about the past wasn't easy for me.

Luca had taken one look at me and pulled me into a tight hug. He didn't ask any questions, just led us to bed and proceeded to hug me. I told him anyway.

He didn't tell me what had happened in the meeting but I was sure it didn't go in my favor. Killain didn't agree.

“Little wolf,” Luca called pulling me out of my thoughts.

I smiled at him and he placed a little kiss on my forehead. He joined me on the bed, pulling me into his warm chest.

I hated the fact that there were clothes between us.
