Samantha’s Pov

“You're not leaving this table until I say so.”

“You're not the boss of me; you can’t dictate what I do,” I fired back at him. It was infuriating that he sat there and dictated my actions when there was obviously an elephant in the room.

“And yet, you still sit down there willingly.”

“I don't think ‘willingly’ is the right term for it.” He did nothing but smile. Smile?! I had had a shitty week because of him. I did nothing but train, and although I had noticed some changes in my strength, the discovery didn’t make me feel happy.

I couldn’t share it with him. I was in heat; I needed him sexually too but had to resort to my hands—which was fucked up, by the way. And he had the right to sit there and smile like there was nothing to address, like his unruly behavior should be excused.
