Samantha’s Pov

We walked into the eating house, my hand in his. The empty tables and fluorescent lights greeted us. Thank goodness I told Tyler about this. He was able to book the whole eating house for our time. The waiter greeted us as we sat down at our table.

“Welcome to Donero's eating house, Alpha and the kind missus. What would you like to have?”

“What’s on the menu?” I asked.

“Well… a fresh wine is available for the couple, and the meal is being prepared. Name whatever meat you would like to have, and it will be served.”

I smiled in contentment, taking in the fluorescent candles set on the small round tables, draped with white linen, and the wooden beams that crisscrossed the ceiling. The air was soothing, mixed with a rich smell of spices and beef. The chandeliers hung above, giving the place an overall touch.

“We’ll go through the menu and let you know. Before that, give us your finest wine, please,” I said. He nodded, and with a smile and a small bow, he walked away.
