One week had passed since Daunte, and I spoke to the High Council to obtain their approval to integrate the packs. As a result, the entire werewolf community heard, and the backlash started seeping in. Many packs had already begun spreading rumors about me, saying I was a rouge manipulating Daunte and Hector. Some called me a fake, a liar, a cheat. Their attention was not focused on understanding the entire story. In the middle of all the nonsense that was being said, the most hurtful rumor I heard was that I had killed my parents. The stupidity of people and the closed-mindedness of the world amazed me.
