"What's a witch?" Kate asked, obviously confused by the word.

"A witch is a werewolf's nightmare," Mako answered her, his tone serious.

"I didn't think werewolves have nightmares," Kate said, her voice weak, "I thought they were the apex predators."

I could see the fear in her eyes, I was afraid too, though I haven't seen a witch before but from the stories I have heard concerning them, especially the powerful ones, they can weaken an alpha with their mysterious spells.
