After her bath, she stepped out of the steamy bathroom, her skin soft and glowing. A white robe clung to her damp frame. She quietly locked the bedroom door then padded barefoot toward the wardrobe.

She let the robe slide off her shoulders, the soft fabric pooling at her feet, and then began sorting through the clothes inside.

Her fingers settled on a soft sage-green dress, sleeveless, simple, and elegant. The material hugged her figure gently.

She slipped it on, then walked to the mirror and g

She raised a brow at him. “Can you even draw?”Levi puffed his chest and gave a dramatic shrug. “Of course. I can draw... definitely,” he added, his voice full of playful pride. “Okay then, artist Alpha.”She sat up straight, fixing her hair behind her ears, ready to be his muse. Levi placed the sketchbook on his lap, picked up the pencil. “No peeking. I mean it.” He said. She almost laughed. “I won’t look, I promise.”Levi began sketching, his eyes occasionally lifting to take in her features, her soft green eyes, the curve of her lips, the gentle tilt of her head. Every once in a while, he’d pause dramatically like a true artist, biting his lip and narrowing his eyes, just to make her laugh. After a little while. “All done.” He finally said.“Already?” she asked, sitting up straighter.“Eyes closed,” he ordered with a teasing tone.Kaliyah rolled her eyes playfully but did as he said, closing them and waiting patiently. Then he held the sketchbook up to her face and said. “Okay,

She smiled brightly, and the two of them moved through the clearing, carefully plucking flowers from trees, shrubs, and the grass. Daisies, wild roses, lavender sprigs, and little purple and yellow blooms soon filled their hands. When they returned to the blanket with arms full of flowers, Levi looked down at their colorful bundles. “So… what do we do with these, mate?” he asked curiously, raising a brow at her.Kaliyah grinned. “We could make flower crowns out of them.”“Flower crowns?” he repeated, raising his brow even higher. The idea sounded amusing to him.She nodded eagerly. “Yes. When I was younger, I used to make them from wildflowers. I can show you.”Levi sat down beside her on the blanket. “Alright, show me how it’s done, princess.”Kaliyah began sorting through the flowers. She picked out a few with long, flexible stems like some lavender, soft vines, and a few wildflowers. “See,” she said, “you can twist the stems like this… then tuck this one under…” She demonstrated s

The path had led to the most breathtaking clearing she had ever seen. The grass was soft and lush, and not too far ahead was a sparkling stream gliding over smooth stones. A little further, she could spot the majestic silhouette of a mountain, its peak half-covered in clouds. Around them were wildflowers, lavenders, daisies, and soft patches of clover. There were butterflies fluttering lazily through the morning air.It looked magical.Levi moved forward and gently placed the baskets on the grass. Then, he reached into one and pulled out the plush gray blanket. It looked thick, cozy, and soft. With a simple flick, he spread it across the ground.Kaliyah quickly stepped forward to help, smoothing out the edges with him. When he sat down, he looked up at her.She smiled and sat too, right beside him.Levi reached into one of the picnic baskets again and brought out a small, beautifully tied bundle of fresh lavender flowers. The soft purple petals glowed subtly in the daylight, and the

She began brushing her long dark hair carefully, letting it fall in waves behind her shoulders.Just then, there was a soft knock on the door.“Luna?” Felicia’s voice came gently.Kaliyah moved to open the door, still brushing the last strands of her hair. The maid gave a polite courtesy and a bright smile.“Good morning, Luna,” she said. “I wanted to ask if you’ll be dining downstairs this morning, or should I bring your breakfast up?”Kaliyah smiled back at her. “I’ll com

She blinked at him. “So… you’re going to bite me?”Levi rubbed the back of his neck. “Well… yes. But only if you’re ready. It’s okay if you’re not.”Kaliyah looked at him with widened eyes. The thought of a werewolf sinking his fangs into her neck, had to be the scariest thing she could imagine. “Is it something you… really want to do?”He looked at her seriously. “Yes. Marking you means claiming you. It tells every other wolf out there that you’re mine, and no one touches you.”Kaliyah smiled a little at that. Maybe the marking wouldn't be so bad? “What happens if you don’t?”Levi’s expression grew a bit thoughtful. “It’s hard to explain. The wolf gets restless and uncomfortable. His instincts get stronger and the urge to mark becomes harder to fight. And the mate, if unmarked, can sometimes go into… heat.”Her eyes widened slightly. “Heat?”“Yes”“What's heat?” She asked innocently.“Heat is an uncomfortable phase a she-wolf goes through when she's yet to mate with her mate. It happ

Levi slowly lifted his head from her lap and turned to face her, his gaze locking onto hers with a hint of a smirk. Then, he pointed to his lips.“Here.”Kaliyah’s mouth parted slightly. Her eyes widened just a little. This man was unbelievable, and he made her heart race like nothing else. Her lips twitched. “Do you… want me to scratch it?”His smile deepened, lazy and charming. “Yes,” he said, leaning in a bit closer. “With your lips.”He was so close now, close enough that she could feel the soft warmth of his breath caressing her skin, she could see every speck of blue in his intense eyes. Her breath caught in her throat, suddenly feeling heat spread through her body. She didn’t even know when she became like this, when she started wanting to melt under his touch, wanting to…Kiss him.Levi leaned in even closer. Their lips were barely a whisper apart now. Her heart thudded against her ribs, as though it was trying to escape her chest and run straight into him.“Kaliyah,” he murmu

The moment Sebastian got close enough, his cold gaze landed on the girl Levi held protectively at his side. His expression didn’t shift, but his eyes seemed to take her in carefully, like he was studying a problem rather than a person. Then, with a slight, half-hearted nod, he spoke.“Greetings, A

Her eyes landed on the full-length mirror by the door. And when she looked closely, she almost didn't recognize herself. Her cheeks were flushed, her dark hair fell wet and shiny down her back, clinging to her shoulders and arms. Her skin looked clearer, smoother, glowing softly from the steam and

Levi ran his fingers through her hair, brushing it off her face with care.“If you're not comfortable answering,” he said softly, “you don’t have to say anything, at least not right away.”Kaliyah nodded slowly. Then Levi asked quietly, “Who was the woman you bumped into when you left the forest?”

The moment Levi saw them, he didn’t say anything. He simply turned and continued walking down the hall. Ray and Oliver simply followed behind him. They reached the balcony.
