Riven – POV

I hated hospitals.

The smell. The sterility. The fucking silence filled with things no one wanted to say.

And now this.

That omega.

Ours.

I still felt the phantom echo of her fear crawling under my skin like fire. It hadn't left me since the moment she bolted out of that hospital bed. And watching her flinch like we were the ones who hurt her—yeah, that shit did something to me I couldn't name.

Now we were heading into Damian's office, the four of us walking like a damn funeral procession, and I could feel it simmering in the air. The tension. The guilt. The rage.

Kael looked like he was barely holding himself together. Lucas was dead silent, which was never a good sign. And Damian... Damian's jaw had been locked so tight I swore he'd snap his own damn teeth.

I followed them in, arms crossed, back tense as we all stepped inside.

No one spoke right away.

Damian shut the door behind us with a sharp click.

And that was it.

The room felt too small for how big this problem was.

  • Mated to four   Chapter 35

Kael – POV Fucking hell. The second Christ's name slipped from Damian's beta's mouth, Lira froze. And then the scent hit—fear so raw it clawed at the back of my throat. Sharp, acrid. The unmistakable stench of piss followed, thick and choking. The whole room went still. Riven. Damian. Me. None of us moved. Because she was terrified. Frozen because of a name. My arms tightened around her trembling form as I carried her up the stairs. She didn't say a word—just curled into herself like a dying ember the moment I laid her on the bed. Fragile. Shaking. Broken all over again. God, I wanted to fix it. I wanted to do something—anything. Run her a bath. Hold her. Tell her over and over that she was safe, that nothing and no one could touch her again. But I didn't. Because she wasn't ready. She needed stillness. Space. Safety. Not hands, not words, not pressure. Not yet. Then, quiet. So quiet I almost missed it— "Kael." My heart jumped. I stepped forward slowly, careful not to

  • Mated to four   Chapter 34

Lira – POV That name. That fucking name. It crashed through my skull like a hammer. I couldn't breathe. Couldn't think. Couldn't hear anything but the sound of my own ragged breathing. Kael was talking—his voice low, calm, trying to anchor me—but he felt a million miles away. Because I was gone. My body was in this room. But my mind... It was back there. Back in that hell. I was chained up—arms suspended above my head, wrists rubbed raw from how long I'd been hanging. Naked. Filthy. Weak. I couldn't even stand on my own anymore. My toes barely brushed the floor. My knees were shaking. And he stood in front of me. Christ. Smiling. Smiling like this was a fucking game to him. "You think silence saves you?" he said, voice smooth, too calm. "You think if you stay quiet, I'll forget you exist?" He grabbed my jaw, fingers digging into the sides of my face until my teeth ached. "You don't get to disappear, Three-Seven. You're mine. You understand that?" I didn't answer.

  • Mated to four   Chapter 33

Damian – POV Kael looked up at me. "I'm taking her back to her room," he said, voice low. I didn't argue. Didn't need to. One look at her—eyes wide, body trembling like a leaf in a storm—was all I needed. "Go," I muttered, jaw tight. I watched him lead her out, slow and careful like she might break. My hands curled into fists. My omega just heard Christ's name and damn near collapsed. Yeah. That was all the proof I fucking needed. Riven looked over at me, silent. I turned away before I did something I'd regret. "I'm gonna call Lucas," I said, already pulling my phone from my pocket. "Fill him in. See what the hell he's found." We needed a plan. We needed to hit Trinity before they buried whatever evidence they had. Riven crossed his arms, eyes drifting upstairs. "To do that, we'd have to leave," he said flatly. "What about her?" My jaw tightened. "We can't just leave her here," he continued. "What if Christ comes sniffing around again?" I looked at the ceiling. The

  • Mated to four   Chapter 32

Riven – POV The moment I stepped inside the damn house, her scent slammed into me like a freight train. Sweet. Soft. Hers. It curled in my nose, punched me right in the chest, and my wolf went still. She was here. I took another step—slow, controlled. And that's when I saw her. Peeking from behind the kitchen door like a scared little rabbit. One glance at us, and she bolted. Straight for Kael. Before I could even blink, she slammed face-first into his chest. Hard. She froze on impact, hands gripping his shirt like a lifeline. Her body shook, her scent went sharp with fear, and everything in me locked up. Kael didn't move. Just held her. Damian smiled. "It's okay," Kael said softly. "I'm sure you remember his grumpy face. He won't hurt you." I rolled my damn eyes. "Grumpy face? Really?" She peeked out from behind Kael's shirt like a shy pup. Big eyes. Cute... and heartbreaking. So yeah, she remembered me. Or at least recognized I wasn't a threat. Didn't mean she tru

  • Mated to four   Chapter 31

Christ – POV The door slammed behind me, rattling in its frame, just as the call came through. I answered on the first ring. “What?” “Alpha… we, uh… ran into a problem.” I froze mid-step. “What kind of problem?” There was a pause, followed by a shaky inhale. “We made it to Alpha Damian’s border… but his patrol wouldn’t let us in. Said we needed permission to search.” For a moment, I didn’t say a damn thing. Then I spoke—slow, tight, and deadly. “You went to Damian’s pack?” “Y-Yes, Alpha. You said we needed to start looking—” “I said to handle it discreetly,” I snapped, my voice rising with every word. “What part of discreet didn’t register in your tiny fucking brain?” Dead silence. I paced, blood boiling hot enough to taste copper, my fists clenching so tight my nails broke skin. The scent of my own blood mixed with my fury. “Now I might have Alpha Damian sniffing around. If he connects me to those missing omegas—if he even suspects—you’ve handed him a gift-wrapped excuse

  • Mated to four   Chapter 30

Riven – POV The second Damian called and said Trinity pack members were at his damn border, I knew I was right. Something about Christ always reeked of filth. Arrogant. Slippery. Too smooth for someone with that much power and no accountability. I never liked that bastard. And now? If it turns out he had anything—anything—to do with what happened to her, to the omega that belongs to us... He's a dead man. No second chances. No trial. No mercy. Dead. I pushed harder on the gas, tearing down the road back toward Damian's territory. I didn't even wait for my enforcers to catch up. They could follow the scent of burnt rubber. My mind was spinning with everything I'd dug up over the past two days—quiet transfers of omegas between smaller packs, packs connected to Trinity. Payments moved under fake names. Files wiped. Reports closed without follow-up. Covered in red tape and rot. And somehow no one noticed. Or they chose not to. I don't trust easy—but now I trust even less.
