Damian – POVA low growl rumbled in my chest as I adjusted the collar of my shirt, already regretting agreeing to host these damn Alphas in the first place.I didn't want to play host. I didn't want to talk politics. Hell, I didn't even want to be seen today. But the council insisted, and now I was stuck waiting for a bunch of puffed-up bastards to walk into my pack like they owned the place. This better not turn into a dick-measuring contest.I poured myself a drink—something strong, something that might take the edge off—and slammed it back in one go. It didn't help. My nerves were still raw from the mess I'd had to clean up last night. Rogue attacks, border disputes, and now this little Alpha tea party.Fucking fantastic.I was halfway through stacking the unnecessary papers on my desk when a knock echoed from the hallway.Right on time."Of course they're early," I muttered, jaw clenched. I rolled my shoulders and stalked toward the door, yanking it open with a snarl. "This bett

Damian – POVI was just about to answer Kael when the tug hit me—sharp, direct, threading through the pack link like a blade under my skin.Alpha, it's Liam. We've got a breach in the south border.I stiffened at his words. Every instinct in me went on high alert. Around the table, the others felt it—something shifted in my expression because the room went dead quiet as I tried to listen to Liam.Where? I shot back through the link.South border, near the ravine trail. Patrol caught the scent less than five minutes ago. Only one crossed. Female. Alone. The trail's fresh and alpha she's moving fast I can smell blood as I track the scent.I stood up so fast my chair screeched across the stone.Riven's eyes narrowed. "What is it?"I didn't answer right away. My pulse was already pounding, every part of me sliding into that razor-focused headspace where orders came fast and without question.Human? Omega? What are we looking at?Unknown. Doesn't smell like rogue. Doesn't smell like pack e

Riven – POV"Fuck this."That was the first thing out of my mouth after the bond hit.I shoved a hand through my hair, jaw clenched so tight I thought I'd snap a damn tooth. The pull was still crawling up my spine like a parasite I didn't ask for.I glared at Damian."You felt that shit too, didn't you?"He didn't answer.Didn't need to.Of course he fucking did.Lucas let out a low whistle. "Well... this day just keeps getting better."Kael stood stiff as a damn statue, face unreadable, but I knew better. I could feel it—the confusion, the pressure, the way it settled in your gut like a ticking time bomb.An omega.Ours.Fated.What the actual hell?"She's unconscious," I snapped, gesturing to the girl lying in Damian's arms like a shattered porcelain doll. "Doesn't know who we are. Doesn't know what she is to us. And we're standing here like it's fate's fucking gift basket."Damian's voice was low. Controlled. Too controlled."She asked for help."I rolled my eyes. "She didn't ask f

Lucas – POVThe moment Damian stepped inside and told the nurses to back off, I felt a wave of relief roll through the room.Finally.She didn't need more poking. She needed space. Rest. Us.I was just about to follow him in when his voice cut through the air like a blade."Out. All of you."I blinked.Wait, what?He didn't even turn around—just stood at her bedside like some overgrown guard dog who'd claimed the spot and wasn't moving.Riven snarled softly. "You can't be serious."Kael didn't say anything, but his jaw twitched hard enough I could see the muscle clench from across the room. And me?I gave a sharp, humorless laugh."You kicking us out now?" I said, arms folded. "You forget we're in this mess too?"Damian didn't flinch. "She needs peace. The bond hit her like a truck. She doesn't need four Alphas breathing down her neck the second she wakes up.""She's our omega," I snapped. "Not just yours."He finally looked at me then. His eyes were calm—but dangerous."I'm not claim

Damian – POVThe bond hit me before the message did.Fear. Raw. Feral. It tore through me like a blade across open skin. My chest locked up. My wolf lunged to the surface so fast I nearly shifted right there in the hallway. Then the mindlink snapped into place."Alpha—she's awake. But—she's panicking. She's trying to escape."I was already moving. The others felt it too.Kael stiffened beside me, his jaw tight. Lucas cursed under his breath, spinning toward the hallway. Riven's eyes snapped to mine, and even he looked shaken. Not scared. Not for himself. For her.The unfinished bond pulsed, erratic and sharp. Her fear slammed into us in waves—too much, too fast. It was suffocating. She was unraveling and dragging us with her.I pushed the link open to the hospital staff. "Do not touch her. No one lays a hand on her. Back off until I get there.""She's bleeding—she ripped the IV out. She's not thinking clearly—""I said back off."I took off down the corridor, the others right behind m
