TAYLOR'S POV

THREE DAYS LATER

“Zephyr, how long does it take to draft a document for a treaty?” I grumbled from the kitchen floor while fixing him some hot pot.

“Longer than we ever imagined apparently. Turns out the Lycans and the wolves have a lot of controversies to settle. We can't sign anything or agree on anything without going round to talk to a bunch of old werewolves.”

I walked in just in time to see him huff and throw his writing pencils on the table. He covered his face and let out a deep sigh.

“We are going to be here longer than we thought.”

“You are figuring that out now. I didn't think you were that slow.” I whispered, mockingly. He smiled and I laughed at him.

“Dig in before it gets cold.” I put his plate close to him. He flung the manuscript aside and settled in to enjoy the meal.
