Taylor was born a helpless Omega that cannot even shift because of it, everyone in the pack bullies her but the worst of them all comes from the Alpha to be, Zephyr Shadows or as she calls him, Mateless Idiot. Taylor waits patiently for the day she will be mated so her mate can kick his ass but the universe seems to be against her when the alpha turns out to be her mate. Zephyr Shadows thought he was untouchable. That karma was fake until the moon goddess mated him to Taylor, the sassiest bitch in the whole pack who he bullies everyday. Zephyr thinks he is still in control until the bond makes him beg like a cub heeled to his mother breasts. Taylor will never be his mate and Zephyr does not want her. The two are bent on breaking the bond so the Alpha makes them an offer. If by 6 months of living together as husband and wife, they remain unmarked and unmated to each other then the bond will be broken. Unknown to them, the moon goddess took extra care weaving their Bond and she is certainly not going to let them break it.

TAYLOR'S POV …Run Taylor. Run… I rammed my face into a signpost. Pain coursed through me, whistling sounds ringing in my ear. I stumbled back a little, finding balance. I could hear my wolf yelling in my aching head. ‘Taylor, you gotta keep going. He is catching up. Run!’ I opened my eyes. I was hurt a lot but I forced my limbs forward, propelling myself into the road again. I could hear the horn of his car, the scream of his friends. They were gaining in on me. With each second, my heart beat faster. Tears burned my eyes and fear curled around my lungs, squeezing the air out of me. I am such a fool. What was I thinking? Challenging the Alpha’s son. That bully. The moment my shoe hit him, I knew… I had fucked up big time. Now he and his betas were after me and with the bloodthirst I saw in their eyes, I knew that they would beat me to death. I jumped into a puddle, the dirty black water baptizing me and wetting my feet. I didn't stop running. I couldn't. I was so scared. I was approaching a sharp bend now. If I could make that corner then I would lose him in the crowd on the next street. I might actually survive this. The thought brought fire into my bones. I tore through the air, forcing every muscle in my body to move faster. I was just five steps away… four… three… two… Something hit me. The impact shattered the left side of my head, I flung sideways, slamming into a row of trash cans. Shock stole my voice and so I couldn't even scream. The whole world was spinning. My head was in excruciating pain and buzzing sounds rang in my ear. My vision blurred but I didn't need to see to know he had caught up with me. I heard them laughing and then their feet landed hard on the pavement as they jumped down from their car. I crawled, my nails digging into the cement floors. They bled. I couldn't get away now, I knew it but I still had to try. I felt a presence loom over me and then a hand grabbed me, yanking my body off the floor like a ragged doll. He forced me on my feet, I wobbled, unable to stand. Then I felt his hand grip my throat, pinning me to the wall. I couldn't pry his hands away. My body was shaking as I felt oxygen leave me. “Come on, Taylor.” He said, his lips so close to my ear I could feel his breath. It made my skin crawl. “Beg for your life like the worthless omega you are.” I struggled to break free. I was at his mercy but I, Taylor, was not going to beg. “I… I…” “Come on, spit it out.” He hung a smug look on his face. “I…. beg you to please… fuck yourself, mateless idiot.” The smile vanished. A dark frown settled in. I could see anger lit up in his eyes. “You are so dead, Taylor.” He squeezed, I gasped. His hands were so tight I couldn't claw them open. I was completely out of breath, light fading in my eyes. At this rate, I’m going to die. “Hey, Zephyr. Let that girl go!” An unfamiliar voice broke into my subconscious. It was like a fleeting epiphany I had never felt before. The voice sounded elderly but firm. The instant he spoke, Zephyr let go. My body crumbled to the ground. I didn't gasp, I didn't cough, I lost consciousness immediately When I woke up, I was on my way home in an old golf, muted color. The driver introduced himself as a shopkeeper. He saved my life from Zephyr, the Alpha's son. To be honest, it was unbelievable. It has been more than five years since his bullying began but this was the first time someone saved me. I limped into the house after he dropped me off. I had a broken neck, blisters on my feet. A terrible headache, a bashed skull and zero tolerance for any living being. I just wanted to go upstairs and cry. Immediately I stepped into the house, Dad was the first to spot me. His face lit up with bewilderment. “What the hell happened to you?” He tried to come close. I flinched back immediately. “It's nothing, Dad.” I muttered my voice barely audible. “Nothing?! You look like rouges had you for dinner.” “I'm fine, dad.” I tried not to raise my voice. I wasn't in the mood for all this. Why does he never notice that? Yeah, I understand he was worried but now just wasn't the time of his pity talk. “Look Dad. I am… It's all good, Okay. Whatever this is will end tomorrow when I turn 18 and find my mate.” I glanced at him. There was a pained look in his eyes the instant I said that. “I am your father.” His voice was firm but loud. “I will protect you not some mate! Now, Taylor … what on earth happened to you?” “Dad, can you just quit it? I am fine. Give it a rest will you.” He got angry and tried to grab me. I snapped. “Don't touch me.” I ran for the stairs. “Stay away from me!” The last thing everyone heard was my door slam before an uneasy silence fell. I slid into my bed sheets, ignoring the pain all over me. I cried into my pillow. Cursing Zephyr and his gang and every freaking person that raised him. All this was about to end. Tomorrow I would meet my mate and I swear over the grave of my dead parents, I was going to make sure he wished he was dead. Carly Ann’s song broke into my dark reverie. My phone was ringing in my pants pocket. I really didn't want to talk to anyone but when I looked at the caller and the ID and it read, My Best Friend Delaney, all that reluctance jumped right out the window. “Hello Delaney.” “Hey girl. Have you picked?” I quirked a brow. “Oh, no.” She gasped in shock. “You forgot borfire night.” I rolled my eyes. ‘Oh that.’ “Listen girl, you will attend, even if I have to drag you with me.” “Delaney-” My voice was weak. I really wished we weren't talking about this. My eyes fell on the several cuts on my leg. They were healing painfully. “Look Taylor.” Her excited voice faded and she reverted to her sweet, gentle tone that I loved so much. “Something happened. I’m your best friend, I can tell and we will talk about it but not in that cramped room of yours. Chatting under the stars, beside a blazing fire and hot romantic seniors, is a comfort you will not miss.” I shut my eyes for a moment, sucking in a breath then I exhaled shakily. Delaney had a way of convincing people. It worked all the time. “I will be there.” She cut the line. I shut my eyes. Who knew that a few hours from now, I would wish I never listened to Delaney. I never had that house.ZEPHYR’S POVYou never really understand how good it is to sleep in peace until you lose it. The few days I had to spend my nights with her, and lie awake at night worrying about her. The hours that I had to spent thinking of all the bad things in the world which could happen to us because of me; those were the most painful times of my life. Right now, waking up to feel her lying on my chest, sleeping silently, all snuggled up like baby, reminded me of what really mattered. What I thought of when I decided to lie. I see now that I could never bring myself to ruining this peace she had and that was why I chose to lie and face the consequences. Well, I’m glad they the consequences are finally behind us. She grumbled almost immediately I broke out if my reverie. I watched rub her eyes like a little girl and then open them. My face was the first thing she saw. She was still half asleep but she managed to smile at me. “Someone’s up early.” She murmured.“Its day break silly. We are up
ZULU’S POV “Zulu, wake up. You cannot sleep at this hour, we have much to discuss.” he whispered tapping me on the shoulder. I rose from bed immediately, still a bit sleepy eyed but I recognized him and I had his head together enough to speak to me.“Oscala why are you waking me? Did something happen?” I questioned, concern in my voice.“No but we cannot wait for something to happen. Come, I have called someone else. We need to assemble.”“You still have not said what is the purpose of this late night wake up call.” I muttered. I may be eager to know but somehow I was more eager to sleep too. “You will know when we meet up with the person waiting for us. Come we have little time before day break.” Oscala lead the way. I followed, murmuring to himself but making no obvious sounds. We trend through the palace hallways, disappearing in the connection that ran down to the garden. We were immediately concealed by the large trees and tall grasses the instant we entered the garden Even t
TAYLOR’S POV“Don’t you even think about it.”He froze up, looking right into my eyes. But he wasn’t surprised, he appeared as though he knew he had been caught but then it didn’t matter. For some reason they made me really sick inside.“What were you trying to do?” I scurried away, sitting up. He pulled away a little. I held his gaze, covering up with the sheets. He squeezed his gaze, like he had seen something they didn’t make any sense.“What are you doing, Taylor? Are you hiding your body from me?” I boned my face, not offering him any reply. His lips twitched, making a small smile right after he let out a sharp exhale. “Don’t be ridiculous Taylor. I know things aren’t good between us but making it look like I would do something without your consent, not that’s just disgusting.”“Right now. I’m not so sure what you can and cannot do.”His eyes widened in disbelief.. “Taylor!”“Zephyr, you lied to me. You made me believe what wasn’t real and you were gonna let it go on for as lo
ZEPHYR’S POV“What were you thinking?! I yelled. Hell, I had never been this angry in my entire existence. I felt like cracking her skull. I bet she didn’t think before she spoke. But how could she be so stupid to say something like that to Taylor. How was she not able to realize that Taylor was still in the dark about he parent’s death. That girl’s stupidity really ruined everything for me.I paused, realizing that I been pacing. I turned around, staring at the wall, messaging the bridge of my nose. If I don’t calm down, someone will still get hurt, preferably Daisy.Luck for her, Oscala appeared, Theodore following closely behind. I hurried to him immediately. “How is she?” I asked, breathing fast and frightened.“She is coping, I don’t to how well though. She just want no one to come to her especially you. She feels betrayed.”“Does she know why we had to do it?” Oscala nodded. “She knows but she is still upset. Or perhaps she is grieving. Honestly I can’t tell right now.”I b
TAYLOR’S POVWhat’s that thing they said that losing family hurts worse than a stab wound, well they were wrong because right now, If someone ever put together all the pain I had been through all my life and hit me with it, all at once; I swear it wouldn’t hurt me as much as I was hurting now. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t breathe. I was just there, on my knees hugging myself and trembling. I stared at the ground but it seemed ads through I was looking into the abyss. For the first time in my life, I was utterly devastated. At that moment, all I could notice was me. I didn’t see Zephyr lingering behind me or Daisy staring at me with pain in her eyes. I didn’t notice Oscala either until he stopped in front of me and crouched down. He whispered.“Come on, get up.” He placed a hand on my shoulder. I tried to shake him off but his grip was firm. I struggled futilely to get him off me, in the end, I couldn’t shake him off. He pulled me up and supported me a little. We wal
TAYLOR’S AND Daisy was shaking like a frightened child on the king-size bed in her room. Theodore was holding a dead rat by the tail. He was looking her way, his eyes wide with shock and confusion.Taylor cringed away, wearing an extremely embarrassed smile on her face. She his away in the hallway, waiting for anything at all to make this situation a little less awkward. Thankfully Theodore was a master in the art of fixing terrible situations. Theodore began to laugh. He laughed so loud the ladies ended up joining him, chuckling in the different places they were in. Theodore excused himself to dispose of the rat and call someone to repair the door. Immediately he left, Taylor creepy right back into the room, making a gesture of blushing with embarrassment. “I am so sorry. I did not mean to do that. I don’t know what I was thinking.”Daisy giggled. “I have to know what exactly was going on in your mind because hell, you karated the door open. I bet Theodore was shocked to his und
