TAYLOR’S POV

I felt something bad was going to happen immediately Zulu accepted the kid to join us. I didn’t think much of it until I saw the look in Zephyr’s eyes when the meeting ended. He wore a blank expression but his eyes were dull and cold. If there was on thing I learnt living with my husband, it was how much he hated being left in the dark. Frankly he hated the dark and never liked to be in it for any reason at all.

I slipped away and tried to flee through the empty hallway of the Lycan palace, hoping they throw night would conceal me and hide me from him. I went up to the top of the castle and decided to stay there for a while, at least until Zephyr fell asleep.

That plan failed, terribly.
