“ You know how it goes, Princess… ” Aleister murmurs. “ I was not born to be anything special. From the moment I started understanding what life is, I was already told that I was to die when my brother became the King. ”

He told me this before. But I don’t stop him as he speaks in a low voice.

Should have stayed true to your mate! At least Aleister knows how betrayal feels since he had betrayed his mate by loving someone else. Dont feel bad for him at all.

We knew Aleister wasn’t Celia’s biological dad, so it’s good to know that it was Drew. Very sad that they betrayed him. Aleister’s retelling of the brothers being caged and starved made me cry. Their life was horrible. Knowing every day that you’ll die is a terrible way to live. I love the brothers.
