"I promise my Camilla," he said and helped me to get up from the floor. He fixed my nighty strap and patted my cheek

" Go to your room because I have things to take care of," he said, and I left for my room. Tonight I felt that danger is lurking around me. I know Aiden is here, and I want to see him just once. It's been 4 years since I haven't seen him.

I go to my room and laid on the bed on the bed with the promise that nothing can happen to me since I am under alpha Marco's protection, and he will help me.

I sleep with the assurance that nothing bad will happen, but my mind is not ready to accept it because I know that beast will destroy everything.

NEXT MORNING

I wake up and I want to go to Marco and ask him about his talk with Aiden, but first I need to take a bath.

I take a bath and wear my blue shirt with ripped jeans and go to his room. I knock this time and I heard his stressed voice that allow me to enter inside.

As I entered the room, I find he was discussing something with his beta and gamma. Marco's hair is in a mess, and it looks like he hasn't slept since last night

His eyes landed on me, and he stopped talking all three males looked in my direction and all of them have pissed faces.

"Is everything all right?" I asked him and his beta snickered at me

"Your mate is creating problems in our pack just because alpha Marco helped you and that creep is putting conditions in front of us," his beta said, and I know that this is going to happen.

"Shut up Leo," Marco said to his beta and stood up from his place

"I am not afraid of war, I am ready to lose everything, but I will not break my promise that I made with Camilla and as an alpha, I want you too to respect my orders rather than doubting me," he warned his beta and gamma, they both left his office leaving me and Marco alone

"What the deal Marco," I asked him, and he is looking at me with a worried expression on his face.

"Your brother Aiden wants to talk to you once, and he spent his night in our cottage. I am not forcing you, but it is your choice," he said to me and my breath got stuck in my throat

"why he wants to meet me and what demands was Leo talking about," I asked him

"Aiden wants to have talked with you and I assure you his intentions are not to harm you otherwise I wouldn't have let him stay in this house don't worry about the demand, I will take care of everything," he said to me, but the worry is clear in his eyes.

"I will send Aiden to your room and Leo will my outside your room, so you don't need to be afraid of anything and remember the things I have taught you in these four years that you are a brave and bold girl," he filled me with confidence and I can't let his down because indeed he has taught me a lot of things for my own good

"Send Aiden to my room. I will wait for him there," I said with confidence and left for my room. This pack is surrounded by tension only because of me, so I can't afford to be weak.

I entered my room and look at my image in the mirror. I am a brave girl and no one can scare me. I came a long way. I prepped myself for the danger that is coming my way.

Then I hear the knock on my door and Leo entered inside.

"I am sending Aden in," he said and we both share a knowing look that assures me he is standing outside and there will be no harm to me.

"Send him in," I said with confidence and stand proud. As Leo go outside, Aden entered inside and when he saw me, I feel certain emotion in his eyes, but he masked it soon.

"Hello my dear sister," he said to me and this time, there is no emotion.

"why you are here, I hate every one of you," I said but it was not true because he is the one I still care about, I saw sadness in his eyes and that made my heart happy that still there are some emotions in his eyes for me

"Nobody loves you too, my dear sister," he said masking his emotion. This man in front of me is very good at hiding his emotion.

But deep inside my heart, I have a feeling that he is happy to see me alive.
